Bring PCI SSC Training to Your Organization with the New Training Venue Host Program
Alicia Malone · 2026-06-30 · via PCI Perspectives

The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) has launched its Training Venue Host Program, creating a new way for organizations with suitable training facilities to support payment security education while bringing industry training directly to their teams.

Through the program, organizations can apply to serve as volunteer training locations (“Hosts”) for PCI SSC training events. PCI SSC manages the planning, marketing, registration, and delivery of each class, while Hosts provide the training space and agreed upon amenities.

Training locations are selected by PCI SSC based on factors such as training demand, geographic accessibility, and venue suitability.

Benefits of Becoming a Host Venue

  • Reduce training costs
Earn one complimentary training seat for each class hosted, or two complimentary seats when food and beverage service is provided.
  • Bring training directly to your team
Eliminate travel expenses and allow employees to attend training in their own workplace.
  • Learn alongside industry peers
Because classes are open to public registration, participants gain valuable insights through peer-to-peer networking and discussion.
  • Increase your organization's visibility
Demonstrate your commitment to payment security education and industry collaboration by hosting a PCI SSC training event.

Organizations interested in becoming a Training Venue Host can review the PCI Training Venue Host Program Policy, which outlines venue requirements, Host responsibilities, and participation benefits. Additional information is available in the Training Venue Host Program FAQs on the PCI SSC website.

Training Venue Host Program vs. Corporate Group Training

Organizations looking for a private training experience may also consider PCI SSC Corporate Group Training. Unlike the Training Venue Host Program, Corporate Group Training is designed exclusively for an organization's employees or invited clients. These sessions are held at the organization's chosen venue, offer discounted pricing after minimum seat commitments, and focus on select PCI SSC standards determined by the organization.
