It's a neat unit and installation was done by Vickery Water Softeners, who were knowledgeable, professional and expert at problem-solving when the need arose. We felt we were in safe hands!
I cannot understand why people in hard water areas do not invest in a water softener. In 14 years we have had no scale build up anywhere, we have never had to clean the shower head, and our central heating has never had to be drained down.
We’ve had a Minimax for about a month now and we’re wondering why we didn’t get one years ago. With the water being scale-free, faucets, taps and sinks get shiny with just a wipe and no cleaning detergent.
