NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. YOUR ENTRY INTO THE FULL FAN MODE CONTEST (THE “CONTEST”) CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THIS CONTEST IS NOT SPONSORED OR ENDORSED BY INSTAGRAM, THE IPL, BCCI, OR ANY FRANCHISE.
This Full Fan Mode Contest (the “Contest”) is organized and run by OpenAI via @chatgptindia on Instagram, and will run during the IPL 2026 season. The Contest is a skill-based competition where eligible participants must use the Full Fan Mode section on ChatGPT to generate an image, share it as an Instagram story, and tag @chatgptindia. All submissions (a “Submission”) will be evaluated by judges in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, and winners will be selected based on creativity and relevance, and may be eligible for prizes.
By entering the Contest, participants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of OpenAI, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. OpenAI may determine that a Submission fails to meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions and may disqualify the Submission without notice to you.
- Eligibility. To be eligible to participate in the Contest, you must: (i) be at least 18 years of age and be an Indian resident (excluding residents in Jammu & Kashmir), (ii) have a public Instagram account at the time of participation; and (iii) be a registered user of OpenAI services. Employees, representatives, officers, contractors and directors of OpenAI OpCo, LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, judges, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “OpenAI Entities”), as well as immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible. OpenAI reserves the right to verify eligibility and to adjudicate any dispute at any time.
- Sponsor. OpenAI OpCo, LLC, 1455 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94158 is the sponsor of this Contest (“OpenAI,” “we,” “our” or “us”).
- Term. The Contest will run during the IPL 2026 season. Specific match-week windows, if any, will be announced on @chatgptindia on Instagram. Submissions that arrive outside of active contest windows will not be considered.
- How to participate. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. To enter:
- Visit the Full Fan Mode section on ChatGPT
- Select your IPL Team from the available options
- Upload your photo and generate your Full Fan Made image
- Post the generated image as an Instagram Story on your public Instagram profile and add a creative / original tagline
- Tag @chatgptinda in the Story
- Participants are limited to one valid Submission per match window
- Submission requirements.
- A Submission will be considered valid if the following requirements are met:
- The Instagram Story must be publicly visible
- The Story must tag @chatgptindia
- The participant must follow @chatgptIndia
- The image must be generated using the Full Fan Mode custom GPT (manually edited or unrelated images will not qualify)
- The uploaded photo must be of the participant themselves, or taken with their explicit consent. Use of photos of persons other than the participant, deepfakes and/or impersonating photos will result in disqualification
- Personal information. You grant us the right to use and share personal information that is part of your Submission in order to fulfill the requirements of the Contest. For example, we may use your personal information to contact you if you have won and to fulfill any legal obligations we may have in connection with the Contest. If you win, we may also: (1) post your Submission and your name on the @chatgptindia Instagram page, or (2) share your name with anyone who requests a winner’s list. Our use of your personal data is further subject to our Privacy Policy at openai.com/privacy.
- Intellectual property rights. By entering the Contest, you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the Submission or you have obtained all third-party rights necessary to provide the rights granted to OpenAI in this agreement. You grant OpenAI a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, display, publicly perform, and create derivative works of your Submission for OpenAI’s business purposes. Further, by accepting a Prize, the entrant agrees to allow OpenAI, the Judges, and their respective agencies to use the entrant’s name, likeness, and Submission for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
- Judging and winner notification. Each Submission will be evaluated by a panel of judges composed of OpenAI employees and any other judges as may be selected by OpenAI (the “Judges”). OpenAI reserves the right to change or substitute judges at any time without prior notice to participants.
Submissions will be evaluated for creativity and originality of the post and the accompanying tagline, and only winners will be notified. Determinations of Judges are final and binding.
Winners will be notified via Instagram DM to the account associated with the Submission. WINNERS MUST RESPOND WITHIN 4 HOURS OF NOTIFICATION, FAILING WHICH THE PRIZE MAY BE FORFEITED, AND OPENAI MAY, AT ITS DISCRETION, SELECT AN ALTERNATIVE WINNER. OpenAI may require winners to provide valid government ID and proof of residential address to be eligible to receive the prize. All notification requirements, as well as other requirements within these Terms and Conditions, will be strictly enforced.
- Prize. Winners stand a chance to win IPL match tickets (the “Prizes”). There will be 5 Prizes per home match (following the date on which this Contest commences) to be won. IPL match tickets are subject to venue and event policies that are outside OpenAI’s control. OpenAI shall not be responsible for match cancellations, reschedules, venue-related issues, or anything outside OpenAI’s reasonable control. OpenAI may, in its sole discretion, award a substitute Prize as reasonably needed. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or exchangeable by the recipient. All associated expenses (e.g. travel, accommodation, food/beverage) and applicable taxes and any reporting obligations are the sole responsibility of the Prize recipient.
- Limitation of liability. By participating, entrants and winners individually and on behalf of their relatives, heirs, assignees, executors, and administrators, hereby permanently, irrevocably and forever waive and release any and all rights, demands, losses, liabilities, claims and causes of action whatsoever which You may now or hereafter be entitled to assert against the OpenAI Entities, as well as all others associated with the development or judging and execution of the Contest (collectively, the “Released Parties”), including, but not limited to any death, injury, loss of enjoyment or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of the Contest and/or any Prize awarded, any claim or demand for additional compensation or any other claim or demand related to the Contest or what OpenAI provides, and forever release and discharge the Released Parties from any and all liability with respect thereto. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; or any registration, voting or winner selection.
- Arbitration and class action waiver.
YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING MANDATORY ARBITRATION PROVISIONS SET FORM IN OPENAI’S TERMS OF USE AT OPENAI.COM/POLICIES/TERMS-OF-USE.
NO CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS. You may only resolve disputes with us on an individual basis, and may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations aren’t allowed. If any part of this section is found to be illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect, except that if a finding of partial illegality or unenforceability would allow class or representative arbitration, this section will be unenforceable in its entirety. If you are found to have a non-waivable right to bring a particular claim or to request a particular form of relief that the arbitrator lacks authority to redress or award according to this section, including public injunctive relief, then only that respective claim or request for relief may be brought in court, and you and we agree that litigation of any such claim or request for relief shall be stayed pending the resolution of any individual claim(s) or request(s) for relief in arbitration. - MISCELLANEOUS. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify (including, but not limited to, modification of the judging criteria) or suspend the Contest. We also reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if, in our sole discretion, we reasonably believe the entrant has attempted to interfere with the legitimate operation of the Contest, including but not limited to cheating, deception, manipulation, or other unfair practices. OpenAI may also disqualify any entrant who engages in conduct that is abusive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise disruptive to other participants, OpenAI personnel, or the Judges. If any provision(s) of these Terms & Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect. The Contest is governed by the laws of India, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions. All disputes, claims or demands that relate to these Terms & Conditions will be resolved by the dispute resolution and arbitration terms set forth at https://openai.com/policies/terms-of-use which are incorporated herein by reference.
