We’re delighted to welcome Klingspor Abrasives as a new client of AAG. Based in Worksop, they’re part of a globally recognised manufacturing brand with a strong reputation for quality and precision. We’re proud to support their UK team with IT services that fit in cohesion alongside their existing international structure.

Who are Klingspor Abrasives?

Klingspor Abrasives are the UK division of an established international manufacturer of abrasive products, supplying high-quality solutions used across a wide range of industries. With 22 users in their Worksop office, they play an important role in supporting customers across the UK while working closely with their Head Office in Germany.

As part of a global organisation, they already benefit from a centralised internal IT team, ensuring consistency and control across the wider business.

What Will AAG Be Doing?

Our role is focused, deliberate, and built around how Klingspor operate.

AAG will be providing endpoint support for the UK team, ensuring devices are secure, reliable, and working as they should day to day. Rather than replacing their internal IT function, we’re complementing it.

This is a good example of how IT support doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

Where their Head Office team retains control of core systems and infrastructure, we provide hands-on, local support for the people actually using the technology. That means quicker resolution for user issues, better day-to-day experience, and a joined-up approach between internal and external teams.

It’s a flexible model, built around what the business actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all contract.

Speaking on the new partnership, Charles Griffiths, Director of Technology and Innovation, said, “This is exactly how we believe IT support should work. It’s not about replacing what’s already there, it’s about strengthening it. Klingspor already have a strong internal IT function, so our role is to complement that with responsive, local support for their UK team. When you get that balance right, users get a better experience, issues get resolved faster, and the business keeps moving without friction.”

With AAG’s local support presence, Klingspor’s UK team benefits from responsive, on-the-ground expertise when it matters most.

Whether it’s resolving device issues, supporting users, or acting as the bridge between the UK office and their internal IT team in Germany, we’re there to keep things running smoothly.

Looking Ahead

We’re excited to be working alongside Klingspor Abrasives and supporting their UK operations as part of a wider international business.

On the new partnership, Louisa Widdowson, Financial Controller at Klingspor Abrasives, said,
