At long last, Dish launches its TLD for Latinos.
The .latino top level domain name entered sunrise today.
Sunrise runs through June 11, and General Availability starts the next day.
Unique to the .latino launch is that there’s no early access period. Once Sunrise ends, it goes straight to GA.
101Domain, one of the registrars now accepting pre-registrations for the domain, will charge $24.99 for standard registrations.
Dish DBS is behind the domain name. Earlier this year, it sent .mobile into general availability.
The company still has other domains it has not yet launched, including .data. With applications now open for the next round of TLD expansion, it’s better late than never.
