Al Horford may no longer play for Boston, but the beloved former Celtics center leaves a trail of high-end real estate.

Horford, 40, who has played for the Golden State Warriors since October, just listed his Brookline home for $14.995 million. The house at 33 Sears Road has five bedrooms and seven-bathrooms (five full, two half) and sits on 1.6 acres of rolling, manicured grounds. Built in 2022, the 13,200-square-foot modern spread is the epitome of luxury.

Horford has history as a Brookline resident. In 2024, he listed another Brookline home for $8.995 million; he bought that one for $7.5 million in the fall of 2021, and according to Zillow data, it sold last year for $5,790,000.

Surrounded by trees and a gate for plenty of privacy, 33 Sears Road welcomes guests through a massive glass front entry. Inside, a grand two-story foyer features a bifurcated staircase. Continue under the stairs to the oversized living spaces, which sit under soaring ceilings.

From the luxe entry, the space flows naturally into the living room with massive windows overlooking the backyard. That continues into the neighboring breakfast area, which flows into the custom kitchen with an oversized island. There’s also a prep kitchen to make entertaining guests easy. Also on the first floor are a formal dining area and two bedrooms.

The sparkling white staircase leads up to a landing above the foyer. On the second floor, one of the most luxurious spaces in the home is the primary suite with hardwood floors and a two-story walk-in closet.

Outside, a spacious stone patio is ideal for entertaining guests (or your entire NBA team). There’s a three-car garage, as well as room for five additional cars in the driveway.

George Sarkis of The Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman has the listing.

Horford isn’t the only hoops star making moves. Celtics legend Jaylen Brown recently re-listed his Fort Point penthouse for $4.9 million, this time with the adjacent studio residence.
