Boston police are investigating after a person found dead in Roxbury on Friday, authorities said.
Officers responded to the area of 100 Malcolm X Blvd. at around 2:24 p.m. Friday, the Boston Police Department said in a press release.
A department spokesperson told Boston.com that the body was found “outside” 100 Malcolm X Blvd.
The victim was pronounced dead after officers arrived, police said.
BPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the unit at 617-343-4470.
The location where the body was found sits across the street from Madison Park Technical Vocational High School and the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.
A BPD spokesperson said Sunday afternoon that there were no additional updates on the investigation.
