A trust from Quincy claimed a $1 million grand prize from a lottery ticket purchased in Somerville, the Massachusetts State Lottery announced.
The winner bought the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” ticket at Holland Convenience, located at 99 Holland St., according to lottery officials.
The Summers Coming Trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes.
Summers Coming Trust said the winner plans to purchase a “summer house,” lottery officials said.
The Somerville store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the ticket sale.
