A 24-year-old woman was killed when a recreational boat crashed into a pier at Logan, officials said.
One woman was killed and three other people injured Wednesday night when a boat crashed into a pier at Boston Logan International Airport, according to officials.
The recreational boat was carrying one man and three women when it struck Pier 4R at Logan around 11:20 p.m., the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said.
A 24-year-old woman on board was fatally injured, while the other passengers were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the DA’s office. Authorities have not named the woman who died.
Boston EMS said multiple units responded to the “challenging” scene, where they were met with “difficult conditions, including darkness and slippery shoreline rocks.”
