A 58-year-old man died Monday after his pickup truck crashed into a Hanson home, authorities announced.
The crash took place around 6:20 p.m. at a single-family residence located at 481 High St., according to a statement from the Hanson Police Department.
The Chevrolet pickup truck had rolled onto its driver’s side and crashed through a front bay window, police said.
“The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was unconscious and trapped inside the vehicle, and firefighters immediately began extrication efforts,” the police statement reads.
Emergency personnel ultimately removed the 58-year-old Hanson man from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue tools. He was then taken to Brockton Hospital, where he later died, according to police.
