The FBI arrested a Falmouth man in connection with two armed robberies in Roxbury and Roslindale this week, authorities said.

Steven Harris, 35, is facing two federal charges: robbery by force and intimidation, and aiding and abetting, according to the FBI Boston Division.

The criminal complaint details that on April 28, two individuals — one allegedly Harris — entered the Santander Bank at 2189 Washington St. in Roxbury at 10:10 a.m. Security footage showed a man, allegedly Harris, wearing a black “Champion” sweatshirt.

The second individual reportedly pointed a firearm at bank staff and demanded money, then dragged the branch manager from her station, threatening to shoot her. They left in a light blue Toyota Rav4 without taking any cash, according to the criminal complaint.

Approximately 90 minutes later, the same two individuals are believed to have robbed the TD Bank at 930 American Legion Highway in Roslindale, according to the criminal complaint.

For this robbery, the suspect identified as Harris wore the same outfit but allegedly switched to brown gloves, while the second suspect changed sweatshirts, security footage showed.

Witnesses noted that the suspect identified as Harris “forcibly moved” employees from their offices to the main area of the bank and “threatened to kill” an employee.

The second suspect reportedly threatened to shoot employees if they did not comply and took an estimated $3,000 from the front teller’s drawer, according to the criminal complaint.

Investigators tracked the suspects’ movements and the vehicle used, leading to Harris’s arrest on Sunday, authorities said.

Court documents state the vehicle was loaned to Harris in a Quincy parking lot five days before the robberies.

Law enforcement also reviewed Harris’s Facebook profile and recovered an image showing him wearing what appears to be the same “Champion” sweatshirt worn during the attempted robberies, according to court records.
