New Hampshire police are on the lookout for a suspect who allegedly stole a purse, they said, but who looks like he might also have stolen Taylor Swift’s heart.
“GUESS WHAT PAL, you may look like Travis Kelce, TE for the Kansas City Chiefs and, possibly his more well known claim to fame, current fiancé of Taylor Swift, but your good looks and cool sty (kids call it ‘sty’ I think.) can’t get you outta this one!” Salem, N.H. police said on Facebook.
Police observed the resemblance between Kelce and the bucket hat-wearing suspect when they shared a photo of him outside a Best Buy store. The suspect allegedly stole a purse out of someone else’s vehicle and used the credit cards in that purse, according to police.
“Are we sure this isn’t Travis, actually?” police joked. “Anyone know where he’s been? Have times been tough? I mean I know the Chiefs missed the playoffs….”
Officers have yet to identify the suspect, quipping that though he may look like Kelce, the tight end is “a Swifty” and “wouldn’t do this.” Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to contact Officer Prince at 603-893-1911 or at [email protected].
