A 39-year-old Arlington man was arrested Thursday after allegedly exposing himself in a car parked near the high school in town the previous week.

Luis Boston is facing a charge of open and gross lewdness, Arlington police said in a release.

Shortly before noon on Friday, June 12, students returning to Arlington High School from lunch reported the incident, which took place on Massachusetts Avenue, the main thoroughfare through town. The dark colored SUV wasn’t on school property, police said.

Officers were unable to locate the vehicle, but “through an extensive investigation,” they were able to identify it and its owner, leading to Boston’s arrest, according to police. During the investigation, a second student also came forward to report a separate incident involving the same suspect, police said.
