More on Logan:
Emergency medics met an airplane arriving at Boston Logan International Airport Sunday evening after a flight attendant bumped her head during sudden turbulence.
No other injuries were reported on the Delta Air Lines flight from Madison, Wisconsin, which was being operated by regional airline Republic Airways.
A Republic Airways spokesperson chalked the incident up to clear-air turbulence — a burst of sudden, severe turbulence in otherwise clear skies. The flight landed without further complications, and EMTS met the flight at Logan, the spokesperson confirmed.
“Our flight attendant walked off with them to be evaluated,” they added. The flight attendant’s condition was not immediately clear.
Logan Airport also saw a dramatic incident unfold on Saturday, when a Delta jet had to abort a landing attempt after coming roughly within 300 feet of an American Airlines plane that was taking off.
The Federal Aviation Administration has said it is investigating Saturday’s incident.
