What do you get when you combine the early breakout fanbase of the 2026 World Cup with a regional Massachusetts delicacy?

Great content, of course.

On Wednesday, the social media account North Shore Beefs posted a clip of a group of Scottish soccer fans trying some representative North Shore roast beef sandwiches from Wakefield Roast Beef & Seafood.

Seated around an outdoor table, five lads dug into their beefs, a North Shore tradition for which locals are very passionate. In the video, one of the Scots sets the scene with a, “Let’s try this bad boy.” Asked how it tastes between mouthfuls, another replies, “Unbelievable, man, isn’t it?”

Notice on the table also: sauce (presumably James River BBQ), cans of Zero Gravity Green State Lager and Lord Hobo’s 617 lager, an “A+ Grandpa” mug, and a gallon of milk for some reason.

North Shore Beef commenters predictably enjoyed the post, with one remarking, “William Wallace would of loved a Northshore Beef!,” and another saying, “Beef brings people together.”
