The HBO series “Neighbors” is casting for its second season and looking for real-life disputes or unusual neighbor relationships.
Your next-door neighbor dispute could be HBO’s next story.
The documentary series “Neighbors” is casting for its second season and looking for people with unusual, funny, tense, or ongoing stories about the people who live next door.
A researcher for the show recently posted in the Cambridge Residents Facebook group, saying producers are hoping to film a segment in the area.
“We are hoping to do a segment in the Cambridge area and are interested in talking with anyone with a unique relationship or ongoing dispute with their neighbor,” the post said.
The post listed noise, property lines, pets, parking, and construction as possible examples.

According to the show’s casting website, producers are looking nationwide for “real and ongoing” neighbor stories. The site says no issue is too small, as long as the story stands out.
Season 1 of “Neighbors” followed disputes across the country, including conflicts over fences, animals, property, and neighborhood behavior. HBO renewed the series for a second season earlier this year.
Cambridge-area residents interested in submitting their story can visit the show’s casting site.
