The Tartan Army in Boston:

Just when Boston thought it couldn’t fall any more in love with the Scots in town, enter 6-year-old Jack.

His objectively adorable review of Boston’s FIFA Fan Festival for the World Cup to NBC10 Boston reporter Brianna Borghi has gone viral, with nearly 1 million views on her Instagram and another 400,000 on TikTok.

“Well, it was pretty crowded,” he begins. “Everyone was like watching stuff… “

Probably best if we let Jack take it from there:

Jack went on to be baffled that VIP tickets were purportedly less expensive than regular seats in Foxborough. A man next to him noted the Fan Fest was free, “but you didn’t buy any beers — you were meant to buy the beers,” he ribbed Jack.

“No, do you know what you were meant to buy? You were meant to buy my Doritos,” Jack shot back.

He did get his Doritos.

In the comments on Instagram, Jack’s mom, Caley, said her son is “absolutely loving his time in Boston!” And she said he’s “some character.”

“He was described by his nursery teacher when he was 3 that chatting to him was like chatting to a 40 year old plumber in the pub,” she explained.

“He’s like a wee man cut down,” she added in another comment.

Other commenters were loving Jack, too.

“Protect this angel at all costs,” one wrote.

“Let this kid MC the Fan Zone!” another said.

Jack’s mom was sure to note that her son is still in need of tickets for Friday’s game. After defeating Haiti on Saturday, Scotland returns to Foxborough to face Morocco at 6 p.m.
