Omnissa advances autonomous endpoint management for federal agencies through FedRAMP High Authorization for Workspace ONE
Omnissa · 2026-05-14 · via Omnissa

FedRAMP authorization supports federal agencies with secure digital workspace solutions and gives SLED organizations access to Omnissa environments through GovRAMP

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- May 14, 2026 --Omnissa®, a leading digital work platform company, today announced that the Omnissa Government Services (OGS) environment received a federal agency Authorization to Operate (ATO) at the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High impact level. Federal agencies handling sensitive unclassified data can now use Omnissa Workspace ONE® to simplify endpoint management and move toward more autonomous operations within a FedRAMP High authorized boundary.

Government agencies and other highly regulated organizations are working to modernize their digital environments while also meeting increasing compliance and operational complexity. As they look to update legacy systems, protect sensitive unclassified data, and manage more devices and applications, they need secure and scalable tools that are designed for regulated environments. FedRAMP High authorization gives agencies access to Omnissa Workspace ONE in a secure environment that is designed to support digital work across the organization.

“FedRAMP High authorization expands how agencies can use Workspace ONE across federal agencies,” said Zack Zimmerman, vice president of Omnissa Federal. “With Workspace ONE, agencies can securely manage endpoints through a single solution, while simplifying operations and reducing reliance on disconnected legacy tools across government environments.”

Since receiving FedRAMP Moderate authorization in 2016, organizations have been using Workspace ONE in highly regulated environments to manage devices and deliver applications at scale. This latest FedRAMP High authorization expands Workspace ONE access to additional federal agencies who want industry-leading digital workspace capabilities but are operating under some of the government’s most stringent cloud security requirements. Agencies can now operate Workspace ONE exclusively within the FedRAMP High-authorized boundary, while gaining access to the same capabilities as commercial Workspace ONE Essentials offering.

FedRAMP High authorization also advances broader Omnissa public sector and compliance initiatives, including:

  • SLED and GovRAMP access: Extends access beyond federal agencies. State, local, tribal, and education (SLED) organizations can now access the FedRAMP environment through a GovRAMP authorization.
  • Defense progress: Advances efforts toward a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Impact Level 4 (IL4) Provisional Authorization to Operate (P-ATO) to make its FedRAMP-authorized offerings available to Department of Defense (DoD) customers. This follows a recent approval to connect to the DISA Boundary Cloud Access Point (BCAP), an important step toward final IL4 authorization.

  • Broader compliance alignment: Supports broader compliance efforts, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protection requirements. Omnissa currently maintains its own CMMC Level 2 certification using tools secured within the FedRAMP-authorized environment.

Visit the Omnissa Government Services page for the latest updates on Omnissa public sector offerings and authorizations.
