Interrupting an actor's vocal warm-up is a risky move, especially when they're about to host SNL UK.

Ted Lasso star and West End icon Hannah Waddingham knows a thing or two about pre-show exercises, schooling cast members Annabel Marlow and George Fouracres in the video above.

Set to host the UK version of Saturday Night Live on May 9 with musical guest Myles Smith, Waddingham takes her warm-up extremely seriously, even if it's just throwing words together and dramatically sounding them out like "big beefy boys need big beefy toys."

It's the penultimate episode of SNL UK Season 1, the finale of which will be hosted by Doctor Who‘s Ncuti Gatwa on May 16, with musical guest Holly Humberstone. The first run of the spinoff has seen previous hosts Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed, Jack Whitehall, Nicola Coughlan, and Aimee Lou Wood.

Season 2 is yet to be announced.
