Before I was Mashable's tech editor, I spent years reviewing grooming and skincare products. And in my career, I've tested at least a dozen electric shavers, and probably closer to two dozen. For Amazon Prime Day 2026, you can score a great deal on my favorite electric shaver, which comes from a brand you've probably never heard of.
Laifen first came onto our radar for making the best Dyson Supersonic hair dryer alternative, and the brand has been expanding its line of personal care and beauty tech gadgets in recent years. It now sells some impressive devices, and in my experience, the brand's products are durable, well-designed, and practical. In short, everything I want in a grooming gadget.

The Laifen 3-Blade Electric Shaver is normally a bit expensive to recommend at $179.99, which is why I have to highlight this Prime Day grooming deal. This waterproof shaver is currently discounted by 40%, bringing the price down to a much more reasonable $107.99. That beats its previous all-time low sale price by almost $40.
This product won me over for a lot of reasons. One, I think anything more than three blades is overkill. Two, I'm a sucker for transparent product designs, and I love how you can see into the device's motor. Three, it has a battery that seems to last forever. On top of all that, it's fully waterproof, compact enough for travel, and it fits my face and facial hair just right.
So, if you want to upgrade your electric shaver or finally ditch the disposables, this product gets my full recommendation as an experienced grooming writer. While I think of this as a men's grooming product, it would work just as well for women.
