On the 3, 4 and 5 of August 2026 (10:00am to 12:00pm each day), the Cambridge Institute of Medical Research (CIMR) is running an online event called Reaching Research aimed at students in Years 12 and 13 (or equivalent) interested in studying medicine, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, biology etc. at university.

Speakers include PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and group leaders. Scientists will discuss their career background, current research topic and advice to students considering careers in science.
