On May 30, 2026, JustTech was proud to once again sponsor and attend the Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center’s (MCCAC) annual Girls Night Out event in Morgantown, West Virginia. This year’s exciting Vegas-themed celebration was held at the beautiful Erickson Alumni Center and brought together community members, local businesses, and supporters for an evening dedicated to helping children and families in need.
Our team had a wonderful time supporting this meaningful cause while enjoying an evening filled with dancing, pampering, mingling, entertainment, and a live auction. Most importantly, the event raised critical funds that directly benefit children and families in Monongalia County who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other traumatic situations.
Supporting Children and Families in North Central West Virginia
The Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center plays a vital role in the community by coordinating the efforts of child protection professionals, law enforcement agencies, family advocates, medical experts, and mental health clinicians under one roof. Their comprehensive approach helps reduce trauma for children and families while providing the support they need to begin the healing process.
The MCCAC team provides a wide range of services, including:
- Coordinating collaborative responses among child protection partners
- Arranging family visits and support services, including transportation assistance
- Conducting forensic interviews
- Providing family advocacy and crisis intervention services
- Delivering mental health therapy
- Ensuring access to appropriate medical treatment
All services are provided free of charge to every client and are designed to help children and families move forward with hope and healing.
