I’ve done my fair share of achievement hunting over the years, mainly in the Halo games, but I’ve also 100% completed a few other titles. That got me thinking about all the weird, wacky achievements that exist out there, which eventually led me to put together quite the list.

Not 5, not 10, but 7 achievements, because I wanted to be different, okay…

We’ve got everything here from insanely difficult achievements to immature nonsense and ones some might consider a bit meme-y. Does “meme-y” even function properly as an adjective? I'm not too sure, anyway, let’s dive in.

Snake Beater

First off, we have “Snake Beater,” achievable in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, specifically Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3. The description reads:

Get caught by Otacon stimulating yourself.”

If you can’t put two and two together, I think it’s best I don’t say why this one amused me. To unlock it, there’s a handy guide you can follow here.

So that’s what it tastes like…

Keeping up with the humorous achievements, we have “So that’s what it tastes like…” from Who's Your Daddy?!, a multiplayer game where a father attempts to prevent their son from dying.

The achievement’s description reads:

Drink Mommy’s Milk while playing as the Dad.

Yes, this is a real achievement on Xbox, and if you have the game and want to unlock it, you can find a guide here.

No judgments from me!

LASO Master

Changing tune for a moment from the funny achievements, we’re now looking at one of the difficult ones. “LASO Master” from Halo: The Master Chief Collection (see our Xbox review of that game) has the following description:

Complete all individual Legendary All Skulls On playlists.”

That means completing Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 on the hardest difficulty with every skull enabled. Some skulls act as difficulty modifiers, making enemies tougher, resources scarcer, and the game overall even more unforgiving.

I’ve actually finished Halo 1 on LASO and have been working through the other games myself, and it is definitely not easy.

Seriously…

Four cog soldiers from Gears of War stand ready with futuristic weapons, displaying determination. The setting is dark and industrial, suggesting a tense battle ahead.

Keeping on the difficulty train, we have “Seriously…” from Gears of War. This achievement’s description reads as follows:

Kill 10,000 people in versus ranked match total.”

Killing 10,000 people alone is tough enough, but in ranked too? Even if you decide to boost the achievement, it still takes a very long time. Trust me, I’ve considered grinding it myself, but quickly thought otherwise once I realized just how long it would take.

The Bladder of Steel Award

One more genuinely difficult achievement, and this one is something I could never do. You can unlock “The Bladder of Steel Award” in Rock Band 2, and despite loving those kinds of games, I was never able to play anything above Medium difficulty.

As the achievement description reads:

“Complete the full Endless Setlist without pausing or failing.”

The achievement itself can take around six hours to complete, which explains the name. Bathroom breaks are definitely not allowed here.

Spent 15 Hours At The Alien Strip Club

Here we go back to the weird and humorous ones. If you’re familiar with High on Life (see our recent review of High on Life 2), the name of this achievement should come as no surprise. The game is a wacky adventure full of talking guns and inappropriate jokes.

The achievement description reads:

Unlocks after defeating a boss, despite sounding like you wasted your entire weekend at an alien nightclub.

If you wish to indulge yourself and unlock it, there’s a guide you can find here.

I Swear! I Did It By Mistake!

I’ve saved the most degenerate one for last here. From Lollipop Chainsaw, a cult classic by today’s standards, comes my winner for the weirdest achievement on this list, and may even be considered a bit meme-y?

The description reads:

Accidentally look up Juliet’s skirt once.

Yes, you read that right, and I’m sure you can guess why I gave it the “most degenerate” award. If you wish to unlock this achievement for yourself, I’ll let you Google that one.

Well, that’s my list. I’d be curious to know if there are any achievements that immediately pop into your head, whether they’re difficult, funny, or just outright weird.

If anything comes to mind, be sure to leave a comment. You can also vote below on the full list of achievements featured here, so you can tell me which one is your favorite or the one you think is the weirdest:
