Hi V2EX,
I recently launched a small tool called ImgToolHub and wanted to share it with the community.
What it does ImgToolHub focuses on one very specific task: removing a specific color from an image.
You upload an image, pick the color you want to remove, and the tool makes that color transparent while keeping the rest of the image unchanged. No Photoshop, no complex settings.
Why I built it I often needed to remove a single color from PNG images for UI assets, icons, and product screenshots. Most existing tools are either too heavy, require software installation, or force you into an all-in-one editor when you only need one simple operation.
So I built a lightweight, browser-based solution that does just this one thing.
Key features
Remove a specific color from an image
Works directly in the browser
No signup required
Supports transparent PNG output
Fast and simple workflow
Who it’s for
Developers preparing UI assets
Designers working with icons or illustrations
Anyone who needs quick image cleanup without full design software
The project is still early and I’m actively improving it. I’d really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or feature ideas from the community.
Thanks for checking it out.
