Amazon Prime Day 2026 starts today, and the sweet 4K TV deals are flowing. I’ve been sifting through the all the bargains, I was pleasantly surprised to find an incredible bargain on a TV that I recently tested and loved. The 65-inch TCL QM8L, successor to our current “best mini-LED” TV, is $1,000 off this week. (And you can save even more if you’re shopping for larger sizes!)
The QM8L features a super-quantum-dot-enhanced panel, which amps up the brightness and color of the screen. Paired with Mini-LED technology, and a remarkably high peak brightness it creates incredibly vibrant yet true-to-life colors. It also features an elaborate Bang & Olufsen speaker system, a comprehensive set of wired and wireless connectivity features, a sleek bundled remote with backlit buttons.
Generally speaking, I’ve continued to recommend last year’s version of this TV, the TCL QM8K, because it offered a slightly lower-performance picture at a much lower price. But at this price, I’d recommend the QM8L in a heartbeat. And if you’re looking for a bigger screen, the 75-inch set has an even steeper discount—$1,300 off its original price. And if you want something truly titanic, the 98-inch big-screen model will net you $1,500 in savings. That’s enough to have money left over for a proper surround sound system.
