Jackery Power Stations Are Up to 53% Off for Memorial Day, Including Editor-Tested Backup Picks
Brandon Russell · 2026-05-22 · via Technology - Popular Mechanics
  • Jackery’s Memorial Day deals run through May 27.
  • Some editor-favorite models, including the Explorer 1000 V2, are heavily discounted right now.
  • You can score up to 53% on portable power stations, off-grid solar bundles, and add-on battery packs.

Memorial Day deals on Jackery portable power stations are live through May 27, with discounts of up to 53 percent across the brand’s Explorer and HomePower lineups. With summer heat already creeping in across much of the country—remember that record-breaking heatwave back in March?—this may be your last chance to lock in a deal before brownouts and rolling blackouts start driving demand back up.

A power station can keep a fridge running, a phone charged, and a fan going when the grid buckles under triple-digit temperatures. And unlike a gas generator, you can safely run one inside your home, which matters when the whole point is staying cool. They pull double duty during camping season, too, with a single charge powering lights, a portable cooler, and your devices for an entire weekend.

We’ve tested Jackery’s lineup extensively. The Explorer 1000 V2, our pick for best value, ran a full-size 25-cubic-foot refrigerator for over 18 hours in our testing, and you can snag one for 46 percent off. Meanwhile, the HomePower 3000 offers serious whole-home backup and is currently 53 percent off. Whether you need something lightweight for a road trip or a high-capacity unit for storm season, here are the best Jackery deals available right now.

Memorial Day Jackery Portable Power Station Deals

Explorer 1000 V2 Portable Power Station

Jackery’s Explorer 1000 V2 is our pick for the best value portable power station, and it’s 46 percent off right now at Amazon. In our testing, its 1,070-watt-hour LiFePO4 battery ran a full-size 25-cubic-foot refrigerator for over 18 hours, outperforming other 1,000-watt-class models. The 1,500-watt output (3,000-watt surge) can handle higher-draw appliances like a microwave or electric grill, and three AC outlets, two USB-C ports, and a USB-A port give you plenty of connection options. At under 24 pounds with a foldable handle, it’s easy to move around the house or load into a car.

Explorer 300 Portable Power Station with Carrying Bag

The Explorer 300 is one of Jackery’s most portable options and a solid pick if you just need to keep your essentials charged. Its 292-watt-hour battery and 300-watt output can power up to six devices at once across two AC outlets, a 60-watt USB-C port, a USB-A port, and a DC car port. At just 7.1 pounds, it’s small enough to toss in a backpack or stash in a trunk without a second thought. In fact, this one comes with a durable carrying bag, so you can safely store it away in a closet. It’s currently 23 percent off and a great entry point if you want backup power without spending big.

Explorer 240D Portable Power Station

The Explorer 240D is an incredibly compact option at just 4.85 pounds, which Jackery claims is 46 percent lighter than AC-equipped power stations with similar capacity. It’s a DC-only unit, so there are no AC outlets here; instead, you get three USB-C ports (up to 140 watts per port) and one USB-A port for charging phones, laptops, cameras, and drones. The 256-watt-hour LiFePO4 battery is rated for 6,000 charge cycles and can go from 0 to 80 percent in about an hour. At 38 percent off, it’s a low-cost grab-and-go option for day trips and light travel.

Jackery Solar Generator 1000 v2 with 200W Solar Panel

This bundle pairs the Explorer 1000 V2 with Jackery’s 200-watt SolarSaga solar panel, and it’s 43 percent off the normal price. That discount drops the price to around $740, making it one of the better solar combo deals we’ve seen. The panel lets you recharge off-grid during camping trips or extended outages when wall power isn’t an option. A built-in MPPT charge controller continuously adjusts to draw the maximum power from the panel, so you get faster recharge times even in partial sunlight or cloudy conditions.

Explorer 500 v2 Portable Power Station

The Explorer 500 V2 strikes a balance between models like the Explorer 1000 V2 and the Explorer 300. Its 512-watt-hour LiFePO4 battery and 500-watt output (1,000-watt surge) can run a portable fridge, charge a laptop, and keep smaller devices topped off over a weekend trip. At 12.6 pounds with a foldable handle, it’s light enough to carry one-handed. It also includes a 10-millisecond UPS for instant switchover during home outages, and Jackery says it charges from zero to 80 percent in about 52 minutes via a wall outlet.

HomePower 3000 Portable Power Station

The HomePower 3000 is Jackery’s first power station built specifically for home backup, and it’s currently 53 percent off. Its 3,072-watt-hour LiFePO4 battery delivers 3,600 watts of continuous output (7,200-watt surge), enough to keep a fridge, lights, and devices running for a day or two during an outage. In our review, we were impressed by its size-to-capacity ratio — it packs 1,000 more watt-hours than the Explorer 2000 Plus while weighing 2 pounds less. ZeroDrain technology promises to retain 95 percent of its charge over a full year in storage, and a built-in UPS kicks on instantly when the power drops.

Explorer 1500 Ultra Portable Power Station

The Explorer 1500 Ultra is Jackery’s most rugged power station, making it a great option for backcountry camping. Its fully sealed enclosure carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and it’s been tested to level-9 seismic shockproof standards and certified for one-meter drops. Inside, a 1,536-watt-hour LiFePO4 battery delivers 1,800 watts of continuous output with a 3,600-watt surge lasting 5 seconds. That’s long enough to start high-draw tools and pumps. It also operates in temperatures from 5 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit, and Jackery says its battery can go from empty to full from a wall outlet in about 1.5 hours.
