Amazon's Secret Warehouse Section Features Early Prime Day Savings of up to 70%
2026-06-11 · via Technology - Popular Mechanics
  • This year’s four-day Prime Day event will run from Tuesday, June 23, through Friday, June 26.
  • Amazon’s hidden warehouse section is already loaded with deals on editor-tested tech and gear.
  • Save up to nearly 70% on Apple tech, gaming, small appliances, and more.

Prime Day 2026 is just around the corner, with the official kickoff starting on Tuesday, June 23. Like last year’s massive event, Amazon is running it back with four full days of savings, and Prime Day(s?) will go through midnight on Friday, June 26. We’ll have our eyes and ears peeled all week long, but what if we told you there were early Prime Day savings already available through one of Amazon’s best-kept-secret sections? We’re talking about Amazon Warehouse.

Amazon Warehouse, or what is now commonly referred to as “Amazon Resale” (we’re old school), is a designated sale section that offers massive savings on gently used and refurbished products. If you’ve ever wondered where your electronics and gear go after you send them back (most of the time, opened but unused), now you know. These savings are available year-round, but with Prime Day coming up, the section is absolutely loaded. From Apple products to gaming consoles, there’s a little bit of everything on sale, and most of the items are in mint or near-mint condition.

Now’s arguably the best time of the year to get thrifty on Amazon. It's super transparent about each item’s condition, and they’re all backed by Amazon’s usual stellar return policy. The section is genuinely difficult to find on the site, so we highlighted some of the best Early Prime Day Warehouse deals below. But if you want to learn more about the program, we included a little snippet below our recommendations, so keep scrolling.

How Does Amazon Warehouse Work?

It’s pretty straightforward, and chances are, you’ve seen or even bought something from Amazon Warehouse before. You’ll technically find Amazon’s Warehouse option on every listing—it’s typically listed under the “Other Sellers on Amazon” dropdown on the right-hand side. Don’t worry about third-party sellers in this case, though—everything is shipped, sold, and thoroughly vetted through Amazon. It even uses a 20-point quality assurance test to ensure full transparency about the condition of each item.

Most of the items are either open-box returns, fully refurbished, or gently used. However, the full scope of conditions is broken down below.

  • Used – Like New: The product is fully functional and complete with all of its essential accessories. Packaging may have light damage, but the product is in near-brand-new condition, fully functional, and refurbished.
  • Used – Very Good: The item is in similarly great condition and fully functional, but it may have seen some light usage out of the package. It could have some slight cosmetic imperfections. The item may be repackaged and may be missing some non-essential items, which will be listed in the individual product listing.
  • Used – Good: The item was moderately used and shows minor wear. The packaging may be damaged, or the item may be repackaged entirely. Unlike the aforementioned options, some key accessories may be missing.
  • Used – Acceptable: The item will show noticeable wear but can still function properly. It may also have cosmetic damage and/or light wear and tear. It may be missing components or accessories that are essential to its function. The items missing will also be displayed under the product listing.
  • Used – Acceptable (Final Sale): The product will have extensive cosmetic damage and/or wear and tear. It can still perform its main functions, but it may be missing some valuable components and may or may not work properly unless the items are purchased separately. The full condition will be shown in the listing pictures. These are final-sale items (the only options that are non-returnable and non-refundable, and the prices reflect that).

All warehouse items are curated on Amazon’s typical deals hub. You just have to toggle the dropdown and select “resale.” You can also search for specific items, as you would on Amazon’s standard homepage. And technically, you don’t have to be a Prime Member; these hidden savings are available to the general public. Although we highly recommend it, especially ahead of Prime Day.
