An employee at a taproom in Seattle found their coworker dead on the ground when they came in to open the bar on Saturday morning.
The dead employee was identified by the owners of The Growler Guys as Quusaa 'Q' Margarsa, a man in his early twenties who grew up in North Seattle.
On Monday, Seattle police said they arrested a 20-year-old man who they say shot Margarsa, the Seattle Times reported.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of murder. On Tuesday, a judge set his bail at $2 million.
It's unclear how the suspect was identified by police or if he had a connection to Margarsa.
Kelly Dole, an owner of The Growler Guys, said he knew Margarsa from when he went to Nathan Hale High School with his son.
'He was so buoyant and cheerful to be around,' said Kelly Dole.

Carol Dole, the other owner of the taproom, described Margarsa as warm, intelligent and artistic, adding that he had a 'bright future'.
'He was a valued part of this local community and of this business,' Kelly Dole said. 'We're really going to miss him.'
Carol Dole started a GoFundMe to help Margarsa's family pay for his funeral expenses.
As of Wednesday morning, the online fundraiser has brought in roughly $74,000 toward a $90,000 goal.
'With the devastating loss of Quusaa 'Q' Margarsa, we are raising funds to assist with funeral and memorial expenses,' the fundraiser's description reads.
'Any donation amount is greatly appreciated in support of Q's family, during this tragic time. Thank you so much.'
