Harrowing footage of a truck barreling across a California freeway surfaced after a deadly crash that killed one woman and injured over 30 more people. 

Dashcam footage captured the horrifying moment a Target truck veered across the 210 Freeway in Irwindale on Saturday morning, before colliding with the divider and several vehicles. 

The collision occurred just before 9am local time, leaving one 58-year-old woman dead and 32 injured. 

At least ten people were hospitalized, six of which were children, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Footage obtained by ABC 7 showed the moment the truck began to veer onto the shoulder of the freeway, kicking up dust as it bounced off the metal railing. 

It then was seen quickly racing across lanes of traffic before colliding with the freeway center divider and into several vehicles. 

The truck was seen jackknifed across the divider while at least three cars were seen involved in the pileup. 

Emergency responders reported to the scene at 8.57am, according to the LACFD.

Christina King, 58, was identified as the woman who was killed in the collision from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner's office. 

King was pronounced dead at the scene, an LACFD public information officer told NBC News. 

Of those injured in the incident, 22 refused medical attention.

Footage from the crash showed a white passenger van being loaded onto the back of a green tow truck.

Police officers could be seen directing traffic, which had slowed to a crawl after the accident. 

In addition to law enforcement, fire authorities were also at the site of the crash.

The westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway were closed after the crash 'for an unknown duration,' the CHP said on X.

The carpool and two left lanes of the eastbound side were also blocked off. 

More than two hours after the fatal accident, one user on X commented that she was 'stuck' on the 210 Freeway.

A few cars could be seen whizzing in the opposite direction, while the user's own vehicle did not move at all.

The cause of Saturday's crash remains under investigation.

A spokesperson for Target told the Daily Mail on Saturday night: 'We are deeply saddened by a fatal crash involving a Target trailer near Irwindale, California. 

'Our thoughts and condolences are with all those impacted by this tragic incident, as well as their loved ones. We’re working closely with local law enforcement and will refer additional questions to them at this time.' 

The trailer was being transported by a third-party carrier and the driver was not a Target employee, a company spokesperson added. 

No further details have been released about the driver's identity and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
