He has become somewhat of a celebrity as he makes a splash around the coast of Scotland.
And, on Thursday, Magnus the walrus decided to join a group of pupils from the King’s former boarding school for a sailing lesson.
The youngsters from Gordonstoun School were on the water at Hopeman, Moray, when the 8ft long creature made a surprise appearance.

A social media post captioned ‘celebrity spotted at sailing lesson’ shows images of the gentle giant swimming alongside some of the pupils on their boats.
The school wrote: ‘Looks like Magnus the Walrus needed some sailing lessons, so he decided to sneak into Mr Collett’s session with our Year 4s this afternoon.’
Magnus has already attracted attention in Findochty, Lossiemouth and Macduff in recent days after first being sighted on the Isle of Stronsay, in Orkney.
