A Melbourne osteopath with links to several football clubs in the outer-eastern suburbs has been accused of rape.

Medical practitioner and arm-wrestler Andrew Boskovski, 29, fronted Melbourne Magistrates' Court earlier this month.

Boskovski allegedly raped a woman in Lilydale, in Melbourne's east, on multiple occasions in March last year.

Lilydale is the same suburb where Boskovski worked as an osteopath intern.

Boskovski is accused of penetrating the female without her consent multiple times. The alleged incidents were later reported to police. 

Victoria Police sex crime detectives launched an investigation before charging Boskovski in March this year.

Boskovski has pleaded not guilty to the two rape charges. 

As an osteopath, he practised predominantly in Melbourne's outer east, while also providing game day treatment for various suburban football clubs. 

It is understood that Boskovski worked as an osteopath intern at Lilydale clinic Complete Care Osteo.

The clinic announced the then-student osteopath's arrival with a Facebook post in February 2023.

'Complete Care Osteo welcomes Andrew Boskovski (Osteopath Intern) to the team!' the post read.

'Andrew is currently completing his Master's studies to become an Osteopath, and is eager to to grow and further his professional development.

'As an student intern, Andrew will be offering treatments and observations under the guidance and mentorship of [an experienced osteopath].

'Andrew enjoys working with athletes and weekend warriors, and in 2023 is the head trainer at Coldstream Football Club. He has a keen interest in shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries.'

The clinic also stated in the post a 'fun fact' Boskovski was a professional arm wrestler who held a national title.

At the time, Boskovski was 'ranked 3rd in Oceania in the Super Heavy Weight category'.

Boskovski competed for the arm-wrestling team Melbourne Table Kings, and won a heavyweight title in Queensland in 2024.

The Daily Mail contacted Complete Care Osteo for comment. 

Boskovski, of Croydon, had his bail extended to next appear at court on July 1.
