Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews is 'caught out in a lie with major clue in his social media posts which prove he's STILL in Dubai' despite claiming he was flying to the UK - after he failed to join wife on GMB amid 'travel ban
2026-05-13 · via News | Mail Online

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has been caught in a 'lie'.

A major clue in his own social media images shared on Tuesday confirmed he's still in Dubai even though he claimed he was in Muscat, Oman and on his way to the UK.

The self-proclaimed businessman, 42, had first said he would be flying to the UK on Monday to join Katie, 47, for a live appearance on GMB for their first joint interview.

But he failed to appear, saying he was 'busy' and 'had a couple of things going on' so he was unable to make his flight. He continues to deny that he has a travel ban.

Lee later shared a social media video and said: 'Hi guys. I didn't make Good Morning Britain. I had a couple of other things going on. I am not detained, I am in the airport in Muscat, Oman.'

Yet comparison images from Lee's filming spot showed that he was not in Muscat, because the ceiling design proves he's in Dubai airport.

And he hadn't even gone through security yet, because he's standing in a communal area in front of the check-in desk.

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews' has been caught in a 'lie' as his own images have confirmed he's still in Dubai - despite claiming he had jetted to Oman on his way to the UK

The self-proclaimed businessman, 42, was due to fly to the UK on Monday to join Katie, 47, for a live appearance on GMB for their first joint interview

Lee also said in the video: 'I'm going to put on [a screenshot] of my police app, showing that I don't have any travel bans because I've already left the UAE.'

An hour later, he posted another story confirming that he was on the way to see his wife in the UK.

He said: 'Hello everyone, yes, I'm at the airport and I'm flying to my wife, who did very well on Good Morning Britain today.

'I'm on my way to her. I had a couple of things that I had to do last-minute, couldn't make the show, I was hoping to get on there over the Zoom link, but they let Katie carry on, and she did fantastic.

'So yeah, no one was detained, I don't know where that came from. There's obviously a lot of police around the airport, cameras, everything, definitely not a wanted man.

'I can't wait to get to my wife, I'm really looking forward to seeing you Katie, I love you so much, I'm on my way to you, and sorry it got delayed. I couldn't make the show, guys, it would've been great.

'But hopefully we will be on the sofa soon. Anyway, I love you all, keep it real all of you, and don't listen to any noise.

'I'm definitely not someone who has been detained. And I'm definitely not someone that's wanted, there you go.'

Lee's alleged travel ban would also mean that he would not be allowed to leave Dubai and enter Oman.

He is thought to be banned from leaving Dubai after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji's signature to secure a £200,000 loan – something he has strongly denied.

According to Dubai law, individuals pending criminal investigations, including unpaid debts or civil lawsuits, are not legally allowed to leave the country.

The team at GMB has said they contacted the Foreign Office to see if Lee had any travel ban when they were told he'd be a surprise 'no-show' on the breakfast show.

They said the Foreign Office responded: 'We supported a British man who was detained in the UAE.'

GMB presenter Ed Balls then questioned Katie if Lee was the man who was detained in the UAE.

She said: 'No, they just said it to me in there. I just said, "Lee apparently a British man has been detained. Can just you confirm it's not you?"

'I obviously know it's not him, so he's done a voice note back and laughing emojis. He said, "No it's not me" in a voice note. He's sent me pictures, he's now at the airport, he's on his way.'

After the show wrapped up, Lee took to his Instagram Stories to 'confirm' his whereabouts.

While Lee claimed he was in Oman airport, the Daily Mail can now confirm that he was in Dubai (pictured: Dubai airport)

His alleged travel ban would also mean that he would not be allowed to leave Dubai and enter Oman

Lee continues to deny he has a travel ban

Last month, Lee claimed he would move to the UK in May (images show him meeting Katie in Dubai airport, which has the same ceiling as his latest post)

What can the Foreign Office do if you are detained at an international airport?

If a British national is detained at an international airport, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office they can provide support through its global network.

They cannot interfere with the local justice system, get an individual out of jail, or pay for services such as a lawyer.

The office can offer impartial and non-judgemental help. Once notified of an arrest or detention and can provide assistance according to individual circumstances and local condition.

The Daily Mail has contacted Lee and the Foreign Office for comment.

Last month, Lee claimed he would move to the UK in May and revealed details of a second wedding.

Posting on his Instagram Stories, he shared an image of himself with Katie, which read: 'LEE ANDREWS CONFIRMS RETURN TO UK.

'With his gorgeous wife Katie to support her family and career commitments.

'The couple are stronger than ever and will make the commitment to live together this coming May. Ahead of their Winter Wedding this Year.'

Lee also posted a video of himself, where he gave fans an update on his relationship with Katie, and said: ' Life is good with us at the moment.

'We've got a lot going on and, uh, yes, we are making a good go of it in England. And then we're also going to be sort of 50 50 in Dubai, which is our problem. It's not really a problem.'

Since he married Katie in January, Lee has made a series of extraordinary claims, including that he can speak 12 languages and has worked with Kris Jenner, but these have since been proven untrue.

Last month, he shared an AI image of himself in a bizarre social media post where he appears to claim he is the new face of Adidas.

In the picture, he holds up an Adidas trainer alongside the words: 'Adidas x Adroson Proset. The future of running. Available now.'

He recently claimed to be buying a majority stake in Chelsea, who are currently ninth in the Premier League.

Lee is also fond of posting heavily edited and AI-generated images of himself on Instagram. He has turned off comments on the image.

'I can't tell you all the workings and inner parts to my wealth, but definitely the money is there,' Lee told The Sun. 'And they have to accept, and they have to verify, but it will be going in.

'It sounds crazy, it sounds ambitious, but watch this space.'

Asked about Lee's plan to buy into Chelsea, a bemused source close to the couple told Daily Mail: 'I don't know anything about it... but I very much doubt it.'

Lee will need a sizeable sum to wrestle control from current owner Boehly, the American businessman who acquired the football club for £4.25billion four years ago.

Despite Lee's apparent untruths, even admitting to lying on his CV, which he blamed on a former unnamed PA, Katie still appeared more loved-up than ever as she recently posted a meme about 'pure love' with 'no lies or secrets'.

In his latest interview, Lee managed to speak about his wife in Spanish, despite referring to her incorrectly as his girlfriend, before the wheels came off when he was asked to do the same in Hindi and Arabic.

He told The Sun: 'I don't know the word for woman in Hindi. Hindi, I'm going to struggle with because it's like broken down. And anyone who listens to Hindi will say, 'that's not right' and I want to get it right. But let me try it in Hindi for you'.

Before going on to claim he found speaking Russian easier with Russian people, as he can 'bounce off them'.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lee said: 'I work with [Kim Kardashian's] mother [Kris] directly. Kim, or should we say her mother, who manages most of her outlets...from what I understand, Kim doesn't have a voice. Kim. And obviously they've got their legal team.'

Lee previously admitted he lied on his CV as he addressed fraud allegations after it was previously claimed that he spent three weeks locked up in a Dubai jail.

This was as a result of him allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend's signature to take out a £200,000 loan in her name, and he has been banned from leaving the United Arab Emirates. He denies this.

Lee was also recently hit with a fresh accusation that he took $1000 from another woman and has thus far failed to pay her back - he denied the claims on Instagram soon after.

Lee, who is a self-proclaimed 'millionaire', has also claimed that he studied at Cambridge University and has a PhD.

His LinkedIn profile previously stated he was a 'Member Of The Board of Advisors' for the Labour Party and 'Director of Philanthropy at The King's Trust', formerly The Prince's Trust.

However, the businessman has now admitted his CV was embellished, claiming a former personal assistant was responsible.

He added that he does not manage his own LinkedIn or social media accounts.

However, he conceded that his CV definitely needs to change, admitting 'it's not good' by any means.

Last month, he shared an AI image of himself in a bizarre social media post where he appears to claim he is the new face of Adidas

The Sun previously reported that a woman got in contact with the publication, sharing how she believed she was investing $1000 in his company Aura Worldwide Holdings Ltd.

However, paperwork for the company, which is registered in the British Virgin Islands, showed the business was dissolved in 2024.

Despite this, the woman claims she has not received her investment money back from Lee.

She said: 'I sent $1000, which is almost 4000 Dubai Dirham. I sent it to his personal bank account, but didn't question it at first.

'When I asked for it back, he said he would pay it back. It's been almost two months now, and he's still not giving me my $1000 back.'

The publication has reportedly seen messages between Lee and the woman, which confirmed he would return the cash in 24 hours.

However, after she failed to receive the transaction, she went back to him on February 17, writing: 'This is my final request to return to me the 4000 I paid to you for shares in your company that was dissolved in 2024. Please wire the amount back to my account.'

On February 23, she followed up and threatened to go to the police, prompting Lee to reportedly reply: 'Police? Give me 48 hours, I'll send.'

However, she claims she has yet to receive the money.

Despite official paperwork showing his business was dissolved in 2024, Lee insisted to the publication that the company is most certainly not dissolved, adding '100 per cent it's there'.
