A British father has been killed in a horror quad bike crash in Corfu that also left his teenage son injured.
The tourist, 40, was killed following a reported road accident on the island at 1.30pm today. His 14-year-old son was rushed to hospital.
While the man is understood to have also been rushed to Corfu General Hospital, he sadly died despite efforts from medical staff to revive him.
The crash reportedly happened in the Almyros area on the north of the island. Local media reported that the British father veered off a road and fell into a drainage ditch.
An ambulance was called and first aid was administered before the father-son duo were transferred to hospital.
Investigators are still looking into the incident.

The dad was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead by doctors.
His grieving daughter Rebecca, 32, also from Wolverhampton, said at the time: 'Our dad's loss has left a massive hole in our lives.'
She added: 'We lost our mum two years ago to cancer. Since then, he has been a bit down in the dumps.
'On holiday, it was the happiest I'd ever seen him, he had a new girlfriend.
'He was lovely and a proper family man.'
