A doting grandfather warmed hearts after he traveled for nine hours on a bus to watch his granddaughter's college graduation in Texas.
Andrea Morgan's graduation from Texas Lutheran University on May 8 was a moment she will cherish forever.
But her grandfather's act of support and devotion made it that much more special.
'Seeing him watch me walk across the stage not once, but twice was incredibly emotional and special for me,' she told NBC 5.
'It reminded me how much family support matters and how proud he is of me.'
Andrea, 25, told the outlet that her grandfather has never missed a milestone of hers, and this time was no exception.
At 91 years old, the loving grandfather hopped on a nine hour bus ride and travelled from Chihuahua, Mexico, to watch his granddaughter graduate with her nursing degree in Houston.
The ceremony marked Andrea's second degree, and her transition from nursing school into healthcare where she hopes to begin her career in women's services.
