A 12-year-old girl was filmed being perp-walked after being charged for allegedly sending a disturbing school shooting threat to a teacher in Florida.
The girl, identified as Jenna Hall, is now facing felony charges of making written or electronic threats to kill and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.
She allegedly used her ex-boyfriend’s student account to send the threat.
Detectives with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office in DeLand, Florida said they were alerted over the weekend after a Gaggle monitoring system flagged an explicit written message sent to a teacher at McInnis Elementary.
Officials said the message not only targeted the teacher with abuse, but also warned that the sender planned to ‘shoot up the school on the last day.’
In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said that while the message initially appeared to come from a 12-year-old boy’s account, investigators determined it had actually been sent by his 12-year-old ex-girlfriend, who had access to his login information.
Authorities released video showing the young suspect being perp-walked by deputies into a secure facility, her hair dyed in a bright two-tone style similar to a look popularized by Billie Eilish.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by ClickOrlando, the message included a stream of abusive language and threats of violence, culminating in a direct warning: ‘Oh yeah and last day im shooting up the school, revolver style.’

The message also contained insults directed at the teacher, threats to blow up a home and disturbing references to self-harm and abusive behavior, authorities said.
Authorities have not said how long the girl had access to the boy’s account or whether he will face any consequences.
It also remains unclear whether the school was placed on lockdown following the threat or if parents were immediately notified.
Gaggle, the monitoring system that flagged the message, is commonly used by schools to scan student communications for potential threats, allowing authorities to intervene quickly.
No injuries were reported.
