A Texas mayor has been accused of a violent sexual assault by an underling who claims he nicknamed her 'my sexetary,' a lawsuit alleged.

Former Magnolia Mayor Matthew 'Doc' Dantzer is being sued by city secretary Christian Gable over an alleged assault during a work conference last October.

Dantzer allegedly grabbed five-month-pregnant Gable by the throat and pinned her against a wall outside their Fort Worth hotel, according to a civil lawsuit obtained by the Daily Mail.

The mayor, whose term ended earlier this month, has denied her allegations and this week asked a judge to dismiss Gable's lawsuit.

According to Gable, the incident unfolded as the pair were walking back from dinner. Dantzer allegedly began to make 'inappropriate and sexualized statements' towards her as they walked, the complaint said.

He commented on the 'loose' appearance of her pants and said they would be 'easy to pull down' after they 'get past the bump,' the lawsuit alleged.

He then tried to remove her pants, but Gable yelled out before playing off the incident as a joke, the secretary claimed in the filing.

As they approached the hotel entrance, Dantzer allegedly asked the secretary if her boyfriend 'knows how to handle' her because she is 'crazy.'

Gable jokingly replied 'he's aware' but Dantzer 'suddenly - and violently - grabbed Ms. Gable's throat and pinned her against a column,' the complaint said.

'You need to tell him to do it like this,' he said as he kept her pinned, Gable alleged in the court filing.

She managed to push him off of her and retreated to her room, claiming in her complaint that she received an apologetic text from Dantzer shortly after.

Gable reported the sexual assault to former Human Resources Director Kristy Powell the next morning and later filed a complaint with the city, the lawsuit said.

She claims that Dantzer retaliated against her after she reported the alleged assault.

Danzter would appear in Gable's office more frequently and would hover over her with his entire body, the complaint alleged.

Gable also said she was denied a request to work from home.

Her lawsuit further alleges a history of sexual harassment by Dantzer, whom she claimed would introduce her to guests at City Hall as 'the City Sexetary' or 'my Sexetary.'

In addition to the complaint from Gable, the former mayor has been accused in a civil lawsuit filed by Human Resources Director Kristy Powell, also pertaining to the alleged assault

But Dantzer, in a motion filed last Wednesday, has urged a federal judge to dismiss the complaint against him based on 'qualified immunity.'

Qualified immunity shields government officials from personal liability in civil lawsuits unless they have violated 'clearly established' statutory or constitutional right.

Dantzer's attorney Kelly Albin argued in the motion that Gable has not established that he violated any laws or constitutional rights.

'The claims against Mayor Dantzer in his official capacity must be dismissed for failure to state a claim for relief because they are in effect claims against the City of Magnolia,' Albin wrote in the filing.

The lawyer also asked the judge to halt the evidence-gathering phase of the lawsuit.

Dantzer's term as mayor ended this month after he did not seek re-election. Gable is still employed as city secretary.

In addition to the complaint from Gable, the former mayor has been accused in two other civil lawsuits pertaining to the alleged assault in Fort Worth.

He has already moved to dismiss one of those complaints.

Danzter denies any wrongdoing and has moved to dismiss both Gable and Powell's complaints

Dantzer was arrested on April 12 following a Texas Rangers investigation and charged with assault on a pregnant person and official oppression. The mayor was released from jail five days later on a $15,000 bond

Dantzer also faces criminal charges in connection to the alleged assault of Gable.
