Meghan Markle has posted a sweet photo of Prince Harry hugging Archie and Lilibet to mark Father's Day. 

The Duchess of Sussex posted the snap on Instagram alongside the caption: 'They’re so lucky to have you. We all are. Happy Father’s Day to our one and only.'

The Duke of Sussex, 41, is kneeling and smiling in the image as he embraces their two children.

Lilibet is wearing white shorts and top with a giraffe teddy on her back, with Archie kitted out in an England Fifa World Cup print T-shirt from Zara. 

The photo was posted just hours after the royals wished his brother William a happy 44th birthday and Father's Day. 

It comes as Harry is reportedly set to take Meghan and his children on a rare visit to Britain next month. 

The Duke is expected to take his family to the UK for the first time in four years to attend the one-year countdown party for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. 

The children have not seen their grandfather King Charles III in person since their last trip to Britain in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. 

The Duchess has not made a prolonged trip to the UK since the late Queen's funeral that September, apart from occasional stopovers in London for foreign tours.

Harry is said to be satisfied with security arrangements for the visit in mid-July and is now planning for Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, to make the trip from California.

The prince has seen his father just twice in two years, and is still thought to be waiting for a decision on what security provision he and his family are entitled to in Britain.

An adorable image was also released today to commemorate William's birthday and Father's Day. It showed the heir to the throne and his daughter Charlotte in the garden at Kensington Palace after King Charles's Trooping the Colour.

A grinning William is seen in the snap proudly with his arm lovingly wrapped around the shoulder of a beaming Charlotte.

'Happy birthday and Father's Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much' the caption reads, signed off by Kate Middleton, Charlotte, George, and Louis with a heart emoji.

An image of King Charles and Prince William was also posted on The Royal Family's official X account to mark the occasion, alongside the simple caption: 'Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales.'

The photo of the father and son was taken in October 2025 during a rare joint public appearance when the duo were at the Natural History Museum in London for 'Countdown to COP30'.

It was posted just minutes after Charles paid tribute to Prince Philip to mark Father's Day.

A poignant image of a young Charles standing with his father was posted on The Royal Family's official X account.

The monarch and the late Duke of Edinburgh stand side-by-side wearing Royal Air Force service dress uniforms with a caption reading: 'Celebrating all Fathers, and thinking of those who wish they could be with their Dads, today.'

The Prince of Wales's birthday celebrations come a day after the Duchess of Gloucester's 80th birthday.

The sweet snap of William and Charlotte was in contrast to events which had happened earlier on in the day when The Princess of Wales had stared down anti-monarchists as they booed her and her children during their Trooping the Colour appearance.

Princess Catherine looked unamused in response to jeers as she and her children George, Louis and Charlotte rode by in a carriage in the traditional annual event.

Anti-monarchy group Republic staged a demonstration, opening umbrellas that spelt out the words 'Stop The Reign'.

And there were chants including 'Not my King' and 'Not my Queen', as Kate and her family passed by in central London on their way to Buckingham Palace for the occasion that also marked King Charles's official birthday - although he was actually born on November 14, 1948.

Kate appeared unimpressed by the jibes, which were brushed off ahead of Royal Family members congregating on the Buckingham Palace balcony – while there was also applause from crowds gathering for the festivities.

It has been a busy week for William in the lead-up to his birthday, having joined the Royal Ascot carriage procession for the second day of races.

He was joined by his wife Kate, 44, at the racecourse who beamed in a bright yellow £1,095 outfit from Roksanda, while William pinned yellow flowers to his lapel.

It was a poignant event for the Princess of Wales in particular, who had not attended Ascot since 2023 due to her cancer diagnosis.

William was in a jovial mood and was seen laughing and joking with onlookers.

The Aston Villa fan and FA President displayed his support for the Birmingham club as he joked with a fellow sporting fan about their team's 'good season'.

As crowds of royal onlookers gathered to catch a glimpse of the future King and Queen, there was one fan in particular who caught the attention of William.

'Up the Villa!,' the onlooker shouted out in excitement, to which the crowd erupted into laughter before a gleeful William responded: 'Oooh, I think people are saying that now. Are you?'

After the fan in the audience implied that they were a supporter of the Birmingham-based team, William raised his hand in support and nodded enthusiastically before adding: 'Good season' and chuckling.

Meanwhile, William this week donated a thousand pounds to help rescue a local pub in danger of closing forever.
