Millions of people are still being forced to hand over nearly £180 a year to fund the broadcaster, whether they use the service or not. The reality is, the system is no longer fit for purpose.
They have even enlisted the help of debt collectors to try and crack down on those not paying.
The licence fee is outdated, unfair and increasingly impossible to justify. It’s time to let viewers decide whether the BBC earns their money - instead of demanding it.
