England's world cup quest to emulate the glory of 1966 will begin on Wednesday night as Thomas Tuchel’s side face Croatia in Texas.

Their Group L campaign starts with a tricky assignment in Arlington, with their opponents ranked 11th in the world. They defeated the Three Lions in the semi-finals of the 2018 tournament in Russia.

But hoping their team has what it takes to bring it home are the new glamorous WAGs cheering from the sidelines.

The previous support squad included Annie Kilner, arguably known for her marital drama with husband Kyle Walker after influencer Lauryn Goodman claimed in 2024 that he was the father of her two sons Kinara and Kairo.

But Annie and Kyle are now said to be stronger than ever as they prepare to welcome a new addition to their family later this year.

Elsewhere, former Love Island star Dani Dyer, daughter of Rivals actor Danny Dyer, is known for her popularity, while Ellie Alderson has previously been dubbed the most fashionable WAG.

But they've been benched this year after their husbands either missed out on selection or retired from international football. As such, it's down to a new group of girlfriends and wives to bring the glamour. 

Some who could be in the crowd as England kick off their match on Wednesday include an American model once linked to Michael B Jordan and a law graduate who gives prisoners legal advice.

Megan Pickford

Wife to England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, Megan Pickford is often highly renowned as one of the most glamorous and popular WAGs across the UK football scene.

She first met the Everton ace when they were teenagers at school and they've been dating since the ages of 14 and 16, respectively. They now share three children, Misty Celine, one, Arlo, seven, and Ostara Haze, two.

The couple's first date was to the cinema when Jordan was a pupil at St Robert of Newminster Catholic School in their native Washington, Tyne and Wear.

Megan, now 30, graduated from university in 2019 while supporting her beau. She even made the move cross country from Sunderland to Liverpool when he signed for Everton for a cool £30million. 

She had son, Arlo, in February 2019, and the couple were married in March 2020 at a register office in Crewe, having had to postpone their lavish Maldives nuptials due to the pandemic.

The ceremony was distinctly understated, with Pickford wearing a baseball cap and ripped jeans, while the bride wore Givenchy studded boots and carried a Dior handbag.

However, they celebrated their wedding again in June 2022 with the lavish Maldives ceremony of their dreams.

An Instagram star with platinum hair and a love of shopping, Megan has assumed a 'mother hen' status with the other wives, organising pre-match parties for them.

She sparked controversy in December 2021 after sharing a message in support of anti-vax protesters. Megan shared a photo from the so-called Freedom March that sparked chaotic scenes across central London on December 18.

The demonstration, declared a 'major incident' by London mayor Sadiq Khan, was attended by thousands of anti-vaxxers after further restrictions were put in place to slow the spread of coronavirus variant omicron.

Megan appeared to show a degree of empathy for the mob by sharing a photo of one protester holding a placard emblazoned with the message: 'Even if you're not conspiracy minded, something in your soul has to say… something is wrong.'

The photo was posted without additional comment from the mother-of-three, and is no longer present on her Instagram account.

Their son Arlo arrived in February 2019 and Ostara in September 2023. Megan and Jordan are very protective of their children and have never posted the faces of Arlo or Ostara on their social media accounts.

In April 2025, they welcomed their third child, Misty Celine. Jordan and Megan shared snaps of Misty meeting her older siblings as well as their lavish Easter decorations to welcome the newborn home. 

In the joint post, they penned: 'And just like that Ostara has been promoted to Queen. Welcome to the world our new little princess, Misty Celine Pickford – our hearts just doubled in size.'

Aside from saving a penalty or two for England, Jordan has been Everton's go-to goalkeeper since 2017. 

Ashlyn Castro

Girlfriend of Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham is in a relationship with American influencer and model Ashlyn Castro.

Ashlyn has previously dated US basketball colossus Terance Mann and has also been linked to A-listers such as Michael B Jordan.

The 28-year-old has been seen numerous times cheering her man on in the stands alongside Bellingham's mother, Denise, and was also in the crowd for England's 1-0 win over Andorra in Barcelona last year.

The coupe have enjoyed a fairly public relationship since it was revealed that they were dating back in January 2025. 

Last year, the influencer and model took to social media to hit back at trolls and clear up several rumours about her private life. 

In an emotional monologue on TikTok of more than ten minutes titled 'The Hardest part is not speaking the truth, but finding the strength to do it', she debunked several claims made about her, including allegations of being unfaithful.

'It makes me super uncomfortable talking on camera about my personal life,' Castro added. 'I've never even really spoken on camera too many times, so bear with me.

'Every angle you can think of, people have attacked me, harassed me, been so disrespectful. It's just been too much.

'Let's talk about this dating history. I've had three boyfriends over the last eight years. In 2017, I was in my very first relationship and he's a public figure, so because of that, I've dealt with people talking about me, making up things about me.

'There was nothing on the internet about me prior, so people kind of just made up a bunch of things to justify hating me because of who I was dating at the time.

Olivia Naylor

Wife to John Stones

Olivia Naylor is an entrepreneur. She is a beautician specialising in eyebrows and permanent makeup and runs the Olivia Naylor Clinic and also the Brow and Blade Academy. Olivia is also involved in the Moosh children's clothing brand.

John and Olivia welcomed the birth of their baby boy in 2023 after three years of dating.

The pair, who both have children from former relationships, were said to be 'over the moon' after learning of Olivia's pregnancy.

Stones welcomed his first child, a daughter, with childhood sweetheart Millie Savage, who he began dating when he was just 12 years old – before a 'devastating' November 2018 break-up resulted in her moving out of their Cheshire mansion.

Olivia was a single mother to her son from a former relationship when she met the football ace in a nightclub.

In 2025, it was revealed that John and Olivia had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Ibiza, according to The Sun.

They married in front of just 40 guests before hosting a champagne pool party to celebrate the next day.

A source told the publication: 'They love Ibiza and wanted to marry in their favourite place. They invited just 40 of their closest friends and family and spread it out over four days.

'They organised a pre-wedding party with all the guests wearing white, except the bride and groom and the three kids who were in black. The wedding itself was beautiful and everything they dreamed it would be. Everyone is absolutely thrilled for them.'

John reportedly popped the question after England lost to Spain in the Euros final last summer. They celebrated with a dinner party before Olivia had a hen party in Las Vegas, whilst John played for Manchester United in the Club World Cup. 

Lauren Fryer

Girlfriend of Declan Rice

Childhood sweethearts Declan and Lauren first started dating during their school days at the age of 17.

Lauren is frequently spotted supporting her beloved boyfriend in the stands, however, the couple typically tend to keep their relationship away from the public eye. 

The couple live together in London and in August 2022 welcomed their son, Jude. In an unconventional announcement of his son's birth, Declan confirmed the arrival of his son by revealing a tattoo on his arm that featured Jude's name, birth date and his Leo star sign. 

The couple also have a dog - Raffa the pooch - which Declan gifted Lauren for Christmas one year. It's believed the couple welcomed the cute pup into their lives after a romantic trip to Paris.

While less is known about Declan and Lauren's relationship, the football star previously admitted that Lauren is jealous of his bond with Chelsea ace Mason Mount - a childhood friend from their time together at the west London club's academy.

Ollie Watkins tied the knot with Ellie Anderson in May 2025. They got engaged the summer before whilst on holiday in Italy.

At the start of the month, Ellie shared photos of her partying with friends and family on her hen-do as part of the build-up to her marriage with the Aston Villa ace.

The couple finally then confirmed that they tied the knot after sharing photos from their lavish wedding with their followers on social media.

Taking to Instagram, the couple posted pictures of the ceremony with the caption: 'Legally Mrs Watkins'.

The newlyweds were all smiles as they posed for the black and white pictures on their special day – 10 months on from when the football star proposed.

The proposal came a week after England suffered heartbreak in the Euro 2024 final, with the Three Lions falling short against Spain in the final.

Ollie had played a key role in England's run to the final, netting a memorable last minute winner in their semi-final victory over the Netherlands.

Ellie followed him to Germany among a host of other WAGs and was an avid supporter in the stands during the tournament.

The couple first got together in 2018 and have seen their romance blossom ever since in-line with Ollie's rise to becoming one of the Premier League's most clinical goalscorers.

They live together in Birmingham and have two children - Amara, four, and three-year-old Marley.

Tolami Benson

Fiancée to Bukayo Saka

In November 2025, Bukayo Saka confirmed his engagement to his long-term girlfriend Tolami Benson.

The Arsenal star asked the love of his life to marry him on a romantic date in a fancy London hotel.

Saka, 24, and Benson, 25, a senior planning executive, are believed to have started dating back in 2020 and largely keep their relationship under wraps.

The England winger and his wife-to-be shared a number of black and white photos on social media to celebrate their engagement.

One of the classy snaps showcased the ring in all its glory and other photos displayed them lounging around a luxury hotel.

The pair went public with their relationship at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar when they were pictured embracing in the stands in Doha.

Since then, fans have had a few snippets of them together. Benson was again cheering Saka on from the stands at Euro 2024 – there was even a kiss after England's 0-0 draw with Slovenia in June 2024.

At England's 1-0 win over Serbia at the tournament, she wore a custom-made leather biker jacket emblazoned with '87' - the same number that Saka wore on his jersey as he broke into the Arsenal senior side in 2018-19.

Across Benson's social media accounts, while there are plenty of references to Arsenal, including friendships with fellow Premier League WAGS including Ben White's wife Milly and Leandro Trossard's wife Laura, there's little sign of the footballer.

Benson is originally from Hatfield, Hertfordshire and studied public relations and media at Birmingham City University.

She has previously worked on the shop floor at Harrods but has been in PR for a number of years.

In May, she started a new gig as a senior planning executive for Zenith.

On her Instagram, there's plenty of glitzy photos of private jets and luxury resorts, and even a shot of the PR exec proving she's a genuine gunner on a rural shooting trip.

Katie Goodland

England captain Harry Kane tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Katie in July 2019.

The footballer and fitness instructor met when they were both pupils at Larkswood Primary in east London, and a relationship blossomed that has lasted decades.

Harry and Katie were even photographed together back in 2005, when they both attended the launch of David Beckham's Football Academy at London's Buoy Wharf.

Katie, 30, has stood by the England captain for years, raising three children and providing a home for Labradors Brady and Wilson.

She has previously described her husband's fame as 'a little crazy' - but it's more than clear that the couple have a lot of pride in each other's achievements.

The childhood sweethearts became engaged in July 2017, when football star Harry got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Nassau in the Bahamas.

In 2019, the bride-to-be was spotted enjoying a fun-filled hen do, in a top emblazoned with her famous fiancé's number nine, paying homage to his footwork skills.

Harry told Esquire magazine in 2015: 'We went to school together, so she's seen my whole career.

Girlfriend of Reece James

Reece James's partner Mia finished her Law Degree at Royal Holloway University in the summer of 2022 after three years of studying.

She previously shared glamorous photos on Instagram, where she has around 17,000 followers. In one sweet selfie with the defender, she wrote 'love of my life' as the glamorous pair posed up a storm.

She reportedly already works with prisoners at HMP Coldingley in Surrey, giving inmates legal advice.

In November 2020, Reece went public with his girlfriend for the first time and shared a glamorous Instagram snap for her birthday in which he described her as his 'best friend'.

Lucia Loi

Marcus Rashford and Lucia Loi first started dating when they were pupils at Ashton on Mersey school in Greater Manchester at the age of 15.

She has been seen supporting Marcus at football games over the years, including during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and has been seen in the stands at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Lucia, who worked as an account executive for Manchester firm Sugar PR, is thought to have graduated in Advertising and Brand Management with first-class honours. 

A LinkedIn page under her name says she attended Manchester University from 2014-2017.

In 2021, the high school sweethearts briefly split, but in January 2022 confirmed they had reunited.  

Marcus popped the question to his significant other at a lavish villa in Hollywood after they shared a meal at celebrity seafood restaurant Catch LA while on a romantic trip in May 2022.

He confirmed the news on Instagram, posting an image of the pair embracing as they stood atop a bed of white roses in front of a heart-shaped archway.

'It was extremely romantic. They celebrated afterwards with a group of close friends - including his United teammate Jesse Lingard,' a source told The Sun.

Another source said: 'All involved are thrilled at the recent news of the engagement,' and spoke of Lucia's influence on the Premier League star, who has received plaudits for his charitable work off the field.

The childhood sweethearts parted ways in June 2023 as the relationship had ran its course. However, last summer the pair reconciled, with Lucia said to have joined Rashford as he settled in Spain.
