As Karl Stefanovic deals with the fallout from stepping away from his reported $2million-a-year Today contract, his daughter Willow has been embracing a very different reality by soaking up the European summer in style.

The 21-year-old has been living in England while studying at the London College of Fashion. Her father is footing the bill for her eye-watering international student fees totalling about $60,000 a year.

Willow hasn't held back in flaunting her jet-set lifestyle alongside her wealthy circle of friends, sharing glamorous snaps from luxury hotels and designer boutiques.

The budding content creator regularly gives followers a glimpse inside her privileged world, posting videos of shopping sprees, fine dining, university life and nights out with her affluent social set.

According to her social media feed, she has enjoyed trips to Cannes, Monaco, Dubai, Uruguay and Argentina in the past few months.

Last week, Stefanovic half-joked that funding his daughter's overseas education had not come cheap.

Speaking on his Gold radio show The Long Weekend with Eddie McGuire, the veteran broadcaster revealed Willow had just finished university - then said she attended 'the really expensive one that Dad has to pay for'.

During that very segment, Stefanovic revealed he was about to reunite with his daughter on an upcoming work trip to London. 

During that jaunt to England, he decided it would be a good idea to interview the British far-right provocateur and convicted criminal Tommy Robinson.

We all know what happened next.

'I have got a bit of work on at some right-wing festival conventions,' Stefanovic had laughed on air with his mate McGuire.

'So I thought, "How good - I can see her and I'm going to take her to the races with [wife] Jasmine."'

Stefanovic also revealed on air that Willow had a 'beautiful boyfriend', Genaro, who is Argentinian and has 'various business' interests.

He even planned to introduce Genaro to his billionaire friend James Packer.

'I'm planning to get them together at some point because you know, the families that spend together, stay together,' he mused.

In the end, Stefanovic's trip to England wasn't just a family reunion and a day at the races. He filmed a cosy sit-down with Robinson for his independent podcast, The Karl Stefanovic Show, before later deleting it.

Robinson has a long history of criminal convictions for assault, fraud, and contempt of court, and is highly controversial for his anti-immigration and anti-Islam views.

Following the backlash - including threats against Nine of an advertiser boycott - it was announced on Friday that Stefanovic would be leaving the network immediately.

While the Daily Mail understands that Stefanovic is still spending time with Willow in London it is unclear if she will need to return to Australia as her student visa is set to expire.

Willow last flew home to support her mother Cassandra Thorburn following her cancer diagnosis in March.

However, the flight nearly didn't happen, forcing Stefanovic, who split from Thorburn in 2016 after 21 years of marriage, to step in and help get his daughter back to Australia.

'With the current conflict in the Middle East it was touch-and-go there for a while if she could even get a flight, but Karl apparently stepped in and made it all happen,' an insider said at the time.

While in Sydney, Willow enjoyed some quality time with her brothers Jackson, 26, and River, 19, and celebrated her 21st birthday with a 'very low-key' family dinner at a local restaurant.

Little is known about Willow's relationship with her boyfriend, Genaro Abdala Garcia, who keeps a low profile and has set his social media accounts to private.

The pair reportedly met in Aspen, Colorado, while Willow was holidaying with her father and brothers for Christmas in 2024.

The Daily Mail understands that Genaro works in business development in the capital and attended the prestigious university King's College London.

While previous reports suggested he was a polo player, Stefanovic dispelled that particular rumour during his on-air chat with McGuire.

'He is very handsome. He is like a polo player - he doesn't actually play polo, but he looks like a polo player,' he said.

'It makes you sick.'
