Donald Trump blasted a FOX News anchor with a new nickname as he defended his immigration enforcement record against Barack Obama's.
Trump singled out Shannon Bream, the host of FOX News Sunday, in a Truth Social post on Friday while declaring a series of policy wins.
The President said his administration had 'the Highest Average Daily Arrest Rate by ICE and CBP, including Total Detention, with Final Orders of Removal, than any other president, by far!'
He then directed his ire at 'these Anchors, Pundits, Dumocrats, and Communists' for supposedly trying to argue that Barack Obama's numbers were 'comparable' to his own.
'It would be nice if people like 'Milk Toast' Shannon Bream, and others, would put up a little fight,' Trump wrote. 'Just a little.'
It was unclear if 'Milk Toast' in Trump's Truth was a nickname for Bream or a typo for milquetoast, defined by the Merriam–Webster Dictionary as someone who is timid, meek or unassertive.
Trump also claimed that he had the highest 'Average Daily Catch and Repatriation' rate of any president.
He added that he was 'not necessarily thrilled to be talking about it because it does not exactly sound NICE,' an apparent reference to his endorsed renaming of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
President Donald Trump singled out FOX News anchor and chief legal correspondent Shannon Bream as 'Milk Toast' in a Truth Social post on Friday
In a different Truth Social post minutes earlier, Trump said that immigration authorities 'removed many more Illegal Aliens under President Trump than under Obama.'
'It's not even close!' Trump wrote.
The President directed his post at 'those who like to say that Barack Hussein Obama, and his Vice President, Sleepy Joe Biden, did as many Criminal ICE removals' as him.
Trump did not provide specific details concerning immigration enforcement numbers in connection to his posts.
It was unclear why Trump specifically mentioned Bream.
She appeared on Friday's edition of America's Newsroom, aired on FOX News, around 10.22am ET, according to a public transcript.
Bream, also FOX News' chief legal correspondent, covered the recent Supreme Court ruling concerning Temporary Protected Status. The transcript did not record any mentions of Obama.
The President's Truth post mentioning Bream came roughly 40 minutes after her appearance.
Bream, who anchors Fox News Sunday, has previously been the target of Trump's ire on Truth Social
This was not the first time that Trump criticized Bream on Truth Social, with the President previously slamming the FOX News anchor as 'naïve.'
In May 2024, Trump wrote on Truth Social that Bream had 'just suggested that Crooked Joe Biden was not involved in my Show Trial.'
'HOW STUPID!' Trump posted.
Trump's post came one day before being found guilty of falsifying New York business records, a conviction that the President is currently appealing.
He also proceeded to call Bream 'anti–MAGA' in a later post that same day.
Earlier this year, Trump said that Bream hosted a 'not very hard hitting show' after she interviewed Massachusetts Rep. Jake Auchincloss, a Democrat.
'She should correct them when they spew out Democrat propaganda and lies,' the President posted on April 6. 'She never does!'
Trump also wrote that Bream 'insists on having lightweight Democrat Congressmen' on her program.
Bream is scheduled to speak to Auchincloss again this Sunday at the Great American State Fair, which is taking place on the National Mall.
The Daily Mail has reached out to the White House for comment.
