An 8-year-old boy in Texas was captured on heartwarming video dancing and cartwheeling his way out of the hospital after completing his cancer treatment.

Royce Dinkins left the Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth last month, after six weeks recovering from a bone marrow transplant and months of chemotherapy, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The second-grade boy with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, B-cell type, decided to make his walk out of the hospital a special event.

Doctors and nurses lined the halls as Royce put on a show, hitting some sweet dance moves and an impressive cartwheel.

Throughout the walkout, the staff cheered as the boy in his favorite Stranger Things t-shirt eventually made his way to ring a bell signaling the end of his treatment.

Nurses tossed confetti in the air while even a service dog was in attendance to see Royce rock the bell back and forth.

His spectacular performance was to his favorite song Boo by rapper H3adband.

The amazing moment was seen by thousands online who applauded Royce and wished him the best.

'Let it ring, let it ring, let it ring!!!! What a wonderful blessing!!!' Wrote one user.

'Praying for continued strength and health for Royce and his loved ones,' another added.

'Wow! That’s an incredible young man. Sending prayers for years of remission and good health for Royce,' a third said.

Royce was diagnosed on July 31st, 2025, shortly after moving to Texas, according to the outlet.

He immediately began chemotherapy, and in February, he received bone marrow from his father.

The chemo caused his long dreadlocks to fall out, in addition to having to relearn how to walk.

Chemotherapy caused him to lose his hair, leaving him to make the decision to cut them off

He was also not able to attend second grade in school with other children due to his weakened immune system, according to a GoFundMe.

The fundraiser was set up to help his family and make his battle more comfortable.

'I will also not be able to play all the sports I wanted to,' Royce wrote at the time. 'At least not for a while.'

He is now at home, according to the outlet.
