A murder investigation has been launched after a three-year-old girl was found dead at a home in Surrey.
The child's body was discovered at a home in Chertsey today after officers were called to a 'concern for safety'.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
He was taken to hospital with a serious injury and will be taken into custody after treatment, police said.
Officers said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
An investigation has been launched by Surrey Police.
