A teacher accused of grooming 13 young boys allegedly used PlayStation's in-game chat to request degrading sex acts in exchange for money and gift cards.
Brisbane man Jayden Robert Carey, 30, has been charged with 41 counts of child grooming in relation to 13 victims aged between 11 and 15.
Carey told police he contacted his alleged victims on Snapchat and asked them to send selfies in exchange for a PlayStation gift card.
If they sent a photo of their penis, he would allegedly send another $100 gift card, police allege in court documents seen by the Courier Mail.
One of his alleged victims was offered $500 to come to Carey's house for 'something special' while another was allegedly paid weekly over a three-month period.
Police allege Carey sent 65 payments of up to $300 each to a 13-year-old boy in exchange for photos of his penis or videos of sex acts.
This boy was allegedly offered $50,000 to have sex with Carey, but refused.
In one conversation with an alleged victim on PlayStation's in-game chat, Carey asked they move to another platform over fears of being 'flagged', police allege.

Carey was arrested in Queensland on June 4 last year after police in Tasmania launched an investigation into the teacher in March.
Officers allegedly found two photos of erect penises and a 13-second video of a young boy performing a sex act on Carey's phone, the court heard.
Police allege the child lives in Western Australia, with Carey making initial contact with the minor through PlayStation's online chat.
Carey allegedly identified his victims to officers using a 2024 school yearbook that was found in his home during a recorded police interview, the court heard.
He also admitted to possessing images and videos of children under the age of 16, the prosecutor told the Brisbane Supreme Court on Tuesday.
'He has admitted to predatory offending against vulnerable male children aged between 11 and 15-years-old,' the prosecutor told the court.
'He has made admissions to a large number of the offences, albeit downplaying the seriousness of some of the charges.'
Carey, who represented himself, applied for bail on the 41 child grooming charges. He has been on remand since his arrest in June last year.

He asked to be freed on bail to live with his grandparents, after his sister said she was 'unwilling' to have him stay at her Sunshine Coast home.
But Justice Scott McLeod refused bail, saying Carey posed a risk to others due to the severity of the allegations and was also a flight risk.
Carey faces up to 15 years behind bars if found guilty of the allegations.
He will return to Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 19.
