Spencer Pratt fires back at The Price Is Right host Drew ...
Will Potter · 2026-05-26 · via News | Mail Online

Spencer Pratt fired back at The Price is Right host Drew Carey and comedian Chelsea Handler as he alleged that they had ties to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

The LA mayoral hopeful came under fire from the two celebs ahead of the election on June 2, as they both questioned his readiness for political office.

Pratt took to X to combat their takes, writing in a post: 'Isn't it weird how the two comedians histrionically lashing out against me are both in the "Epstein files"? What are the odds?'

The former reality TV star referenced an email comedian Jeff Davis wrote to Ghislaine Maxwell in 2002 that said he was 'having dinner with Drew Carey'. There are no known ties to Carey and Epstein himself.

In addition, Pratt also shared a clip of comedian Shane Gillis calling out Handler for having dinner with Epstein in 2010, during this month's 'Roast for Kevin Hart.'

Handler previously admitted to having dinner with Epstein, telling Rob Rowe's podcast in 2021 that she was young at the time and 'didn't know who he was.'

She said she didn't stay at Epstein's home 'for very long' and described the dinner as 'awkward and weird', but said she ran into a number of famous faces at the gathering including former-Prince Andrew, Woody Allen and Charlie Rose.

The broadside from Pratt came after Carey and Handler slammed his candidacy this week, with The Price is Right host branding him a 'serial scammer' with 'no moral compass' in a social media rant on Friday

'Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Pratt for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their a**,' Carey wrote on Threads.

Handler also shared a video to Instagram condemning Pratt's candidacy, saying: 'This is your reminder that a straight, white male, former reality star that has no previous experience in government should not be a legitimate political candidate.'

In her video, Handler poured herself a drink as she compared Pratt to Donald Trump.

'Have we learned anything yet?' she said, as she showed a picture of Trump in her video.

'The bar is on the f***in floor people. And I need you to jump over it. Okay, thank you, have a nice day.'

Pratt's candidacy gained traction in recent weeks ahead of election day on June 2, where he goes up against incumbent LA Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilwoman Nithya Raman.

If no candidate reaches 50 percent support, the election will head to a run-off between the final two in November.

The Daily Mail has contacted Handler and Carey's representatives for comment.

The former reality TV star was initially seen as a long-shot candidate when he launched his campaign in January, with many seeing his hardline stances on social issues as too conservative for LA's voters.

But Pratt's brash campaigning has won praise in recent weeks, with a number of celebrities and political figures endorsing his run to unseat Bass.

The 42-year-old went viral earlier this month in a heated debate, where he slammed the incumbent mayor for 'burning my house down.'

The remark drew laughter from the audience, as Pratt was perceived by many to have dominated the debate and come out on top of his rivals.

A poll from NBC found that 79 percent of viewers believed Pratt won the showdown, and famously liberal outlet LA Times determined he was the 'winner'.

As well as making Bass's handling of the wildfires a key component to his campaign, Pratt has also vowed to aggressively crack down on Los Angeles's issues of widespread homelessness and drug taking.

As part of his hardline platform against Los Angeles' social issues, Pratt recently unveiled plans to implement a three-week 'grace period' to warn criminals, drug users and homeless people to leave the city before he takes action.

Speaking on the All In podcast, he hammered home his message that the city of angels is 'worth saving,' and suggested that his mayoralty will begin with a brief reprieve for those committing crimes and the homeless.

'My plan, the first three weeks, signs up across the city: no more nakedness, no more drug use, no more robbing, no worse, no more dog abuse,' he said.

He says that his team will then go around and warn everyone that: 'You got three more weeks of this, clock's ticking.'

Pratt said he believes this will show those propagating crime in the city that 'there's a mayor in town' and even make some of the troublemakers leave.

'After that, once we start enforcing the laws: Boom! Streets will be back,' he promised.

He also suggested that he would bring in the Centers for Disease Control to wade out the 'medieval diseases' living in LA's homeless encampments.
