Donald Trump is claiming that six individuals have been arrested after they allegedly vandalized the Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC.
'Six people have been arrested, and seven people have been cited, for the damage they did to our Country’s now beautiful Reflecting Pool,' Trump wrote on social media Tuesday morning.
'The 350 foot gash, made by a very sharp knife or razors, is actually numerous slashes over a very long 350 foot length. It was purposefully and criminally done, and somebody had to work very hard, probably in the dark of night, to create such a condition.'
The President raged over the weekend that an alleged vandal cut a 250-foot gash into the iconic pool. Then Trump said on Monday that the gash was actually 300 feet, and now he claims it is 350 feet.
The Daily Mail was unable to verify the location of the football field-sized gash during a trip to the Reflecting Pool on Monday.
Over a dozen law enforcement, Park Police, National Park employees, National Guardsmen and visitors present at the Reflecting Pool on Monday afternoon said they found no sign of a 'gash' in the monument that Trump has been riled over.
Trump said on Monday that there are photos of the alleged damage that would be released in court.
US Attorney for DC Jeannine Pirro's office told the Daily Mail in a statement it is reviewing 'a handful' of citations related to the pool.

But the President says it's not just the gash that has desecrated the monument he recently refurbished to the tune of $16 million, but that vandals have also poured chemicals into the pool, harmed the new 'American flag blue' sealant and damaged grass in the surrounding area.
'Likewise, the small area at the bottom of the Pool was cut and powerfully lifted off the surface leaving very jagged, uneven edges,' Trump's Tuesday post continued. 'The large areas of grass are being replaced.'
The President noted that some of the pool's water will be drained for a 'permanent repair' sometime 'immediately before or after the Fourth of July.'
