Capitol Hill is full of cautionary tales about powerful men and the young staff orbiting them.
Interns - eager, ambitious, and keen to impress - are a vital part of Washington's cut-throat ecosystem.
Enter Congressman Abe Hamadeh, a 35-year-old first-term congressman from Arizona who is raising eyebrows on Capitol Hill for the prominent role he is placing his staff and interns on his social media accounts.
Sources who spoke with Daily Mail revealed the whispers that shroud Hamadeh on Capitol Hill.
A lawyer and former Army intelligence officer, Hamadeh entered Arizona politics in 2021 before losing a bid for state attorney general in 2022. He later beat former US Senate nominee Blake Masters for the GOP nomination in the 8th District and won the seat in 2024.
He has made little legislative impact since arriving on Capitol Hill, but his social media conduct has drawn complaints from Hill staffers who spoke to the Daily Mail.
Hamadeh hasn't been accused of wrongdoing; he's just left people scratching their heads, particularly as members face growing scrutiny around their behavior towards staff.
California Democrat Jimmy Gomez is under House Ethics Committee investigation after reports he kissed a younger staffer.
'They say we're unconventional. I say we get results,' the Republican posted on social media alongside this photo showing him with 11 staffers

Gomez admitted earlier this month to personal mistakes outside [his] marriage, but denied breaking the law or House Ethics rules.
Fellow California Democrat Eric Swalwell's career imploded in April when a former staffer alleged he raped her twice while she was too intoxicated to consent, charges he denies.
Texas Republican Tony Gonzales also resigned earlier this year after the Daily Mail exposed his affair with married aide Regina Aviles.
