An early-morning fire has ripped through a restaurant at a popular resort in Bali, where Aussie tourists were among those forced to evacuate.
Club Med Bali in Nusa Dua on the Indonesian holiday island was engulfed in flames, which were seen spouting through the roof at 7am local time on Friday.
Dramatic footage showed firefighters struggling to battle the blaze as shocked holidaymakers woken by the unfolding emergency watched on.
The second level of the resort which housed a buffet restaurant is believed to have been the source of the blaze, which quickly spread throughout the complex.
The building's straw roof quickly disintegrated, as plumes of black smoke filled the sky.
The blaze was later extinguished. No casualties were reported.
Haley Priest and her young family from Mudgee in central-west NSW were among the guests staying at the resort.
She described being awoken by fire alarms and their room filling with smoke.

Ms Priest praised the 'superhuman' efforts of staff, who evacuated guests to a nearby beach.
'Staff cleared every room, even though the rooms were not in imminent danger,' she told Nine News.
'There was minimal panic, and we did not at all feel unsafe during the process.
'By 7.30am we all had bottles of water. Staff, including upper management, were checking in with all the guests and keeping us informed.
'They had the beach bar running at full capacity for anyone's needs. A kids' creche and play area had been set up on the grass and was fully staffed with games and crafts.'
The family were able to return to their room by 8.30am.
Resort operations in unaffected areas have resumed as normal, while the resort pool will reopen in the coming days.
All dining has been moved to a second restaurant and food truck at the resort.

'We can confirm that everyone was brought to safety and that no guests or staff members have been impacted,' Club Med Pacific general manager Michelle Davies told news.com.au.
'Resort operations are continuing as normal across all unaffected areas, with assessments under way in the main restaurant, boutique, and excursion facilities.'

Consisting of 400 rooms, Club Med Bali is an all-inclusive resort which is popular with Aussie families heading to the tourist hotspot.
Prices start from $2,140 per night.
