Ilhan Omar claimed her net worth is less than nothing after her latest financial disclosure showed her husband allegedly earned as little as $200, despite his company being worth millions.

Tim Mynett, the husband of the Minnesota Democrat, previously valued his venture capital and wine empire at up to $30million but now claims to have made nearly nothing from either business.

Mynett, 44, brought home anywhere between $200 and $ 1,000 from his defunct California winery, eStCru, according to his wife's 2025 financial disclosure report.

The report showed that the husband, a former political consultant who has worked in Washington, DC, for nearly two decades, also made nothing from his main business, Rose Lake Capital.

Omar reported that her and Mynett's total assets were between $20,000 and $125,000 in 2025.

However, she claimed to have $30,000 to $100,000 in debt from student loans and their credit card, meaning their net worth could range from negative $80,000 to positive $95,000.

The report filed on May 13 comes after the socialist faced scrutiny over dramatically revising her 2024 disclosure that once appeared to show between $5million and $30million in assets.

Omar insisted she was not a multimillionaire and blamed the discrepancy on accounting errors.

Rose Lake Capital was listed in 2023 as having a value of between $1 and $1,000. 

Just one year later, Omar's disclosure placed its value between $5million and $25million.

EStCru jumped from a valuation topping out at $50,000 to as much as $5million over the same period.

'Voters see right through the corrupt lies of Ilhan Omar,' Republican National Committee spokeswoman Delanie Bomar told the New York Post.

'Omar has spent her entire career covering up Democrat-enabled fraud that cost taxpayers billions, so it's no surprise that she would do the same for her husband.'

In January, the House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer, began examining how the 'Squad' lawmaker and her husband rapidly amassed millions - at a time that a $9 billion Somali social services fraud scandal also exploded in her state.

Omar has forcefully rejected any suggestion of wrongdoing. She has never been charged or formally accused of a crime in relation to the alleged Minnesota fraud scandal.

President Donald Trump previously suggested Omar profited from Minnesota's widely reported welfare fraud scandal and said the Justice Department is scrutinizing her - claims she has strongly rejected.

'For years, he has called for investigations against me and they have found nothing,' Omar said in January, adding that Trump has 'an unhealthy and disturbing obsession with me and the Somali community.'

Her office said she has not received any communications from the Justice Department or congressional Republicans regarding an investigation.

Omar has previously faced scrutiny over campaign finance questions and business ties involving Mynett, who advised her congressional campaign before the two married in 2020. 

She has consistently denied any impropriety and has said their relationship began after professional work concluded.
