An Australian man could spend up to 12 years in Indonesian jail after allegedly being caught with methamphetamine during a police raid in Bali.
Sean Miller, a 50-year-old from rural Western Australia, fronted court on Thursday following a search of his guest house in West Denpasar about 9am on April 5.
Local police received a tip alleging Miller - identified by police as SDM - was selling drugs from the guest house.
Officers raided the property as Miller was preparing to leave on a Sunday morning and allegedly found drug paraphernalia in the bedroom.
Bali police allegedly seized 0.6grams of methamphetamine, a glass pipe, a bong and an iPhone during the search.
First Insp. I Gede Adi Saputra Jaya claimed the Australian admitted to obtaining the drug from a local and using.
Miller was charged with unlawfully possessing, storing, controlling, or providing Category I non-plant narcotics, which is punishable up to 12 years behind bars.
While being walked to court on Thursday, Miller told a group of reporters: 'Stay away from drugs people.'

When pressed further, the Australian then backflipped and insisted he was in court for a motorbike accident.
'I fell off a motorbike,' he said.
When asked if he was facing a drug crime, Miller said: 'No, no. Not at all. Motorbike accident.'
